Service was very friendly and timely. Portions are not as big as they use to be and we feel the food doesn’t taste as good as it use to be.
Not the best value. Tres Les Pancakes was $17.99. Received two small pancakes, two strips of bacon and two eggs. Taste was decent, but over priced for what you het.
One of the dishes we ordered was a croissant french toast and was served the heal of a loaf. Extremely disappointing. We feel there are better options and will be in no hurry to return.

Finally made it out to this adorable cafe this past January and was pleased with our first dining experience here.
Good all around breakfast/lunch menu at still fair prices, very friendly service and cozy dining space that’s kept very clean. This place is so cute!

When we travel, we look hard for off the main road diners. If time allows, we travel deep off interstate. I found this gem real close to the Wisconsin/Illinois border. So many great options. We chose to eat light due to our flight that afternoon. We had the stuffed biscuits with sausage eggs cheese covered in gravy. Just like Alabama cooking.

Stopped by here before heading over to Ren-Faire for some breakfast. It was super busy inside and it seems like they get a decent amount of traffic. Ordered to go which was relatively easy to do at their counter and got my food within 15-20 minutes. French toast was decent and I liked the berry-almond combo.

This place is AMAZING! I came up for a small trip from Chicagoland and stopped by here and don’t regret a thing. Tried two specials of the day – Nutella crepes and California Eggs Benedict. Both were incredible. Legitimately one of the best eggs Benedict I’ve had in long long while, and I get them pretty often. The Nutella crepe was perfect – springy, thin crepes with crispy edges, just the right amount of butter, Nutella, banana, and an added surprise of some pistachio on top which added great flavor and texture.
Staff were really nice, too!

It’s absolutely delicious fresh breakfast and lunch. The fastest from order time to receiving the meal. A total hidden gem. Wonderful customer service with a smile. There is plenty of seating. Amazing atmosphere with lots of nice people. The inside dining area has a few stairs, so handicap individuals may have issues, but the outside dining area has a ramp and plenty of seating that is picnic table style seating. Plenty of handicap and regular parking. Located conveniently right off the major road.

I’ve driven by this place more times than I care to admit, and now I deeply regret every drive by. This is easily some of the best food and some of the best people in the entire area.
It’s one thing for a restaurant to have great food. It’s a whole different (and extremely rare) miracle when the food is amazing and the staff and owners are even better. Honestly, it explains why this place is packed from the second they open at 7am until they close at 2pm. They could probably open at 3am and still have a line.
I’ve worked my way through the menu like it’s a personal mission: Classic Diner Breakfasts? Incredible. Sandwiches and Burgers? Top tier. Monthly specials? Creative, delicious, and dangerously addictive. And don’t sleep on the chili, seriously, it might be one of my favorite things they serve.
But if the food somehow doesn’t win you over (which would be a wild plot twist), Rhonda, Brittany, and Rocky definitely will. They’re half the reason everyone keeps coming back — the other half, of course, is the chili…at least for me.
Do yourself a favor and stop in. Just don’t make the same mistake I did and wait years to try it.

I Just had breakfast at Red School Cafe in Bristol, and wow – they nailed it! The pancakes and gravy combo was surprisingly awesome – fluffy pancakes with that rich, savory gravy was a match made in heaven. Super cozy spot, friendly folks, and food that feels like a little slice of home. ✅Definitely worth a stop if you’re around!

We were traveling and wanted breakfast. My husband saw this place and asked to stop. We were seated right away. They gave us menus and drinks within a minute and took our order a couple minutes later. It was about 9:30am on a Sunday morning. The place was busy, the workers were friendly and attentive. There is extra seating outside. There are about 6 stairs that you need to climb to enter the dining area, unless you sit outside. The food came with in about 10 minutes and it was plentiful and delicious. We did have to ask for a to go box. The check came and they gave us the option to scan and pay with our phone, so it was easy check out. The cafe looks very clean. We will be back!
