The service here is exceptional! The menu has a wide array of high quality fish. The food came out quickly and presentation was beautiful.

Found this spot late at night on Brookhurst in a small Vietnamese plaza and it was such a gem! The tempura was light, crunchy, and not oily, with juicy shrimp. The sashimi was super fresh with thick cuts, and the fresh wasabi made it even better. The Lobster on Fire was flavorful with a great mix of crunch and juiciness. Great food and amazing hospitality from the owners — will definitely be back!

Nice atmosphere, nice staff, and good quality sushi with your traditional rolls and nigiri, as well as menu items with their own twist. I loved the blue crab handroll. The salmon skin roll was very good too. The red snapper and butterfish nigiri was delicious as well as the salmon boat. The heart attack was ok but they should really replace it with, or add the classic monkey brain starter to the menu. All in all, it was a great experience with good quality fish and fair prices.

Was craving sushi and oysters tonight so found this restaurant nearby. Definitely satisfied the craving and very much appreciated the amazing service. No pictures since we were too hungry and dug in right away, but we got the soft shell crab, half dozen oysters, and sushi/sashimi assortment all of which were delicious. Loved the complimentary ice cream at the end which was a pleasant surprise. Will definitely be back and hopefully remember to take pictures before eating!

Went here for dinner with a large group. It was a Tuesday night so they were able to accommodate my party of over 15. The service was amazing. The servers were friendly and always had a smile on their face. The sushi here was delicious. We also ordered the salmon rice plate and that was surprisingly great. The salmon skin on it was so cripsy and the salmon was cooked to perfection. The oysters were fresh and tasty. I didn’t even have to add anything to it.
The restaurant was so clean, the decore was beautiful, and the bathrooms were clean too.
If you are in the area and looking for something that is not vietnamese food, then definitely check this place out.

Went on Soft Opening day and the Sushi was subpar, tuna looked a couple days old, forgot our appetizer, slightly expensive. Beautiful atmosphere, won’t go back though. I should have stayed with the OG, Matsu!
