I was very disappointed with one of the foods item i ordered on Friday Feb 27! I ordered tick kreung, it was the worst i ever tasted. Not only was so watered down the presentation is mot appealing. I had order there many occasion but never tick krueng, I was pleased with others dish , just recommend a better tick krueng in the future.

This place is wonderful. It is the most authentic Cambodian food I’ve found in the U.S. As someone who regularly travels to Cambodia, I love Khmer food and culture. And this place is exactly that, authentic Khmer food and culture. The food is delicious and there is so much variety. I highly highly recommend the beef loc lac, so delicious (maybe even a little more than the ones I’ve had in Phnom Penh). I love Cambodia town and I would say Red Rose is the heart of it. Thank you for the great meal and service.

I was excited to try out this place after I read that this restaurant was a James Beard semi-finalist. I’m just shocked that a restaurant outside of Boston (and nearby towns) actually got some recognition. And I mean this in a nice way – I hate that everything is only in Boston!

I was in town for a Showcase Cinemas showing, and it felt like a perfect opportunity to finally come here. This restaurant was easily accessible off of Exit 89B on in I-495, and then Exit 5B shortly after. Parking feels a little limited with only about 13 spots shared between the several businesses here. I manage to grab one just as someone was leaving.

The restaurant interior felt like a typical hole-in-the-wall Chinese place (okay, I know it’s Cambodian). Nothing to write home about. There was plenty of seating available I arrived, and I was sat at a double-booth table.

The menu is large and fairly overwhelming, but there are enough pictures for you to point at something that looks good. I was already prepared before arriving here and I knew I had to try the Beef Loc Lac. These seem like steak tips. Small chunks of beef, with a sweet glaze. Delicious. It came with the ubiquitous bowl of rice, and a dipping sauce I was not a fan of. It was very sour which felt like an odd pairing, but that might just be my unfamiliarity with the cuisine’s flavor profiles.

I mistakenly ordered the fried chicken wings thinking I would be hungry to eat two different dishes. When they arrived, I was already full from the Beef Loc Lac. Oh boy, these wings were deeply crunchy! I didn’t detect any notable seasoning, but they were very good plain wings.

Overall, I enjoyed my food and hope to come back here again to try out more stuff.

Typical Asian style restaurant in Lowell. It was a slow day, so no customers have arrive before me and my mother. The food was OK, the price is more expensive than what I can find in Lynn/Revere area. Parking had plenty spots to park, but location wise it’s a tight area where traffic is fast or jammed with cars. Overall experience is normal Asian style restaurant. The one thing I recommend on the menu is the beef chow foon.

Delicious Cambodian cuisine, excellent flavors and portion sizes. Drinks were excellent (try the green bean drink!) and staff were very kind. Can’t wait to head back and try more of the menu next time im in Lowell.

Red Rose is my favorite Cambodian spot in Lowell. Plenty of authentic Cambodian plates with reasonable prices. Portions are always good and service is quick. The takeout quality is equally as good as the dine-in experience. There’s a parking lot and restaurant accepts card and cash payments.

First picture is a small bowl of shrimp and beef kathew (noodle soup) and second picture is a small bowl of beef and meatball kathew (noodle soup). Sriracha and hoisin sauce added to both bowls — condiments are on the table so you can add to your own liking.

I have not been here for years….now I remembered why. The meat is overcooked, rice is over-powered by soy sauce flavor. There are no prices on their menus, since when is fried rice market price? Each entree was $17….our 3 orders with no drinks came to $51 total. Wow! Sushi would’ve been a cheaper option.

Amazing authentic Cambodian food. The beef stew is a fantastic mix of fresh ingredients with soft slow cooked beef. The beef salad and the fried shrimps are also very tasty.
