We came here because we were living at the Zion lodge nearby, and the food was delicious!! It was about 6:00 pm, and there was no wait. The fish we ordered was excellent, and the pasta was great too. Would highly recommend this place for people living at the lodge.

We had a nice meal. Not gourmet, but solid. Our server, Matthew, was terrific. The view was great from our table at the window, bringing the rating to a 5. Come when the temperature is right for you and sit out on the patio. Don’t let the negative reviews dissuade you; this is a nice way to take advantage of Zion Lodge.

The best place to celebrate my birthday! Folks overheard me mentioning it my my server and they waved and said Happy Birthday me. As a solo traveler and photographer Zion National Park was the perfect place to be! Red Rock Grill was the icing on the cake! I highly recommend it!

Appalling meal.

Staying at the Lodge, this is basically your only option for dinner unless you drive out of Zion to Springdale (highly recommended).

Service was fine. We had a reservation for 19:30 and were seated no problem. Waitress was friendly.

However, I needed a comfort break just before the food arrived. “Where are the restrooms?” Downstairs, in the main lobby of the lodge.

I go downstairs, and the Men’s room is “closed for maintenance.”

So I have to leave the main building and return to our room – in the rain – just to use the restroom. I’ve never had an experience like it.

Return to the table, and my appetiser has been dished out alongside my main. Both are cooling.

So I have to wolf my appetiser to get to my main before it’s cold.

One of the worst overall dining experiences I’ve ever had. And not cheap! So, if you’re staying in Zion for the location and the walks and so forth, highly recommend you leave and head into Springdale for dinner if you can. Far, far better dining experiences to be had there.

We had lunch outside on their deck one day and also dinner the night before. Lunch was good and 4 star. Dinner was good to ok at about 3.5. but location was great, especially if you’re staying at the lodge or need a lunch break after hiking nearby. Black Bean Burger and chicken white bean chili was very good. We did have a brief wait for outdoor table at lunch. Lunch was definitely the better choice.

A good place for a bite to eat inside Zion Canyon. Pretty views of the canyon if you’re lucky enough to get a table by the window, otherwise a regular sit-down restaurant experience. Service was good and on an October Friday at noon the place wasn’t too busy. Great coffee cocktail to go with the yummy quinoa bowl – add chicken for a protein boost after your hike!

We ate here for three nights, because each time we were left wanting to try more off the menu. They have a chef special and a special vegetarian option and we were surprised and impressed that the dish changed every night! And it was delicious. The last night we had a duck and farro dish that was just fantastic– rich, tender, not gamey or grainy at all, and with a wonderful balsamic sauce. We ordered the salmon dip appetizer for the first two nights and they pre-emptively fired up a salmon dip on the third night for us before we ordered. We threw them a curveball by ordering a different app, so they gave us the salmon on the house, which was sooo generous and thoughtful. A wonderful experience with great food and drinks!

We ate at the Red Rock Grill every night during our 3 day stay at Zion’s lodge. Each night we were taken so well cared of, staff was so friendly and food was incredible at the price point. The specials were different every night and they were all top notch. We made reservations each night as we had a party of 10 and our table was always ready for us when we arrived. Thanks for having us!

Service – Impeccable
Food – Excellent and generous portions. Very good selection of entrees.
Very friendly atmosphere. They know you’re here to kick back, enjoy the scenery and super-relax.

The pics only show an app we had in the afternoon and then the Chef’s special app of the night, ceviche, later that evening. Totally missed taking photos of the entrees because we inhaled the 1/2 roasted chicken dinner we split. Sooo good!

I don’t understand why this place has bad reviews—maybe it’s related to the dinner options, but I have no idea. We tried this restaurant once for breakfast, and it was great. We chose to sit inside since it was quite chilly outside. The service was excellent—fast, efficient, and very friendly. I noticed most of the servers were young, likely students, which added a nice vibe. The atmosphere was cozy, and the food was delicious. Overall, it was a really good experience, and I’d happily return!
