The food is okay, nothing really stands out to me, but the complimentary fries were a nice touch. The onion rings are good. If you’re a fan of sweet treats, the cinnamon sugar towering dough are definitely worth trying. One thing that was a bit disappointing was the wait time for our food, although our server was super friendly and attentive.

Just off a busy intersection, overflowed with traffic Red Robin might not look like much from the outside…but step through the doors, and you’re instantly welcomed into a calm, cozy oasis that feels miles away from the city noise. Spacious, inviting, and surprisingly quiet, this spot offers the perfect atmosphere for anyone looking to kick back and enjoy a great meal.
Red Robin nails the art of burger making. Each patty was cooked to absolute perfection, juicy, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The toasted buns, buttered just right, added the perfect golden finish and a satisfying crunch that elevated the entire experience. It’s these little details that make their burgers a cut above the rest.
The service? Spot on. Friendly, fast, and attentive without being overbearing. Our meals arrived quickly and were piping hot, which is always a plus when you’re hungry and excited.
Though we dined indoors this time, the outdoor patio looked like the ideal spot for a relaxed lunch, and we’re already planning to come back soon to try it out.
Just don’t let the traffic outside fool you…there’s something truly special waiting inside.

My Husband and I came to San Antonio from Houston a day after we got married to just have some one on one time together. The young lady at the front greeted us and sat us down pretty fast, she even accommodated us to a different table as we typically sit next to each other and not across from each other. However our waiter had us sitting there for about 10 minutes which he did apologize for when he came to the table but he did not introduce himself nor did he have good customer service, he kind of just stood over us, asked us what we wanted although we were still deciding therefore we felt rushed to order. He gave us a complementary fry for the table which was nice of him; he also got hot sauce for my husband as he’s a spicy guy which is also great! However the first glass we got was dirty and the drinks had little to no ice, when he refilled he didn’t offer any ice so the drink was just poured into the cup with no ice. Once we ordered we were only sitting there waiting for our food for about 10-15 minutes which is fast for a restaurant so kudos for that BUT when our food got to the table he kind of just placed it down, didn’t really ask if we needed / wanted anything else. My husband got the crispy chicken strips which were about $16 and it was only 4 chicken strips… he also asked for no ranch and there was ranch on his plate, I’m sure it wasn’t intentional but I got the BLTA croissant with a side salad, I enjoyed the salad but I just could not eat the croissant with my husband so unsatisfied with the service. When the manager came to our table to ask “what’s going on” my husband responded and just asked if we could remove the crispy chicken strips and the BLTA croissant as he stated we were sitting there for 10 minutes waiting to be greeted by our server and he was dissatisfied with the service, she kind of smirked, shook her head, and said okay, let me go look at your tab and she’d be back; she took the plates and walked away. She came back after a short time and said “so I’m sorry you guys were unsatisfied with the service, the tab is on me tonight and basically just said the server was new, it was his first serving job, kind of threw him under the bus, said that she hadn’t had any complaints about the BLTA or the crispy chicken strips the whole night and she apologized once more, she also said “maybe don’t sit in his section next time” ( as if we were able to know who has what section ) “BUT I hope you guys come back and give us another try”… very backhanded and unprofessional. I do not think she took us seriously, we felt very disrespected, as if our feedback was invalidated and just going in one ear and out the other. Sad thing is I enjoy Red Robin, never have I ever had service or poor customer service at a Red Robin establishment until I visited this location. 🙁

I have dined at Red Robin all over the states. This was my first dining experience at this location. This one should have been no different than any other… so I thought. Don’t get me wrong, the food was good and the service was great. The only issue I had is when they brought me my Bacon Cheeseburger deluxe with egg. I love this burger. I always take care biting into hot food, but I was not ready for the grease in the burger to burn my lips. It was extremely hot! The wait staff offered me a discount, which I turned down with the advice to her to tell the chefs to make sure they don’t serve customers this level of heat in a burger again. So be careful what you bite into here. Other than that, I have always enjoyed Red Robin

I met a co-worker at Red Robin, located at 1604 and Culebra road. I think this location is known as the Alamo Ranch location.
Anyway, we met for lunch, and upon entry, we were quickly greeted by James. He was staffing the bar area of the restaurant and was our server for the duration of our meal.
James gave us plenty of time to review the menu and make our menu selections. Once he put our selections into the kitchen to be prepared, he brought us out some complimentary french fries while we waited.
When the meal was ready, James brought it out to us. The burgers we really good and tasty.
While I hate the traffic in and around this area, this restaurant makes it worth dealing the traffic headache to have a good burger.

We were part of a party of 14 and the food was served faster than expected and it was really good! Our server did a great job with our big table and was always around to keep our drinks filled. This was my first time being at a Red Robin and although I have had better burgers it was worth what they charge

If you are looking for a good value, good smash burger meal deal, Red Robin has one you can’t pass up. It includes a double patty Tavern Smash Burger with Bottomless Fries & Bottomless drinks for $9.99. Dine-In Only. My mother and I were there after a day of holiday shopping. We were there, right when they opened. Service was great, they kept the fries and drinks coming. Fantastic smash burger. Bathrooms were very clean. Plenty of room if you need to get around by wheelchair. Great Stop!

We had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. Despite being seated quickly, our server never came to greet us or take our order. My kid was getting hungry, and we waited for almost 15 minutes without anyone checking in on us. It wasn’t until we were about to leave that a staff member finally notified our server, who claimed he hadn’t been informed about our table. What’s more, he seemed more focused on his phone than attending to customers, even though he walked by us multiple times. Unfortunately, the service fell short of expectations.

A few things have changed, no longer is a side salad offered as an unlimited free side with a burger. You have a choice of two types of fried potatoes, broccoli & coleslaw. Really miss the salad. Hence the 2 stars.
Prices have gone up but they do have the $9.99 burger and sides special with a soft drink. No more dipping sauce for the fries. Overall, good burgers and excellent service. We’ll be in for our birthday burger next month but that’s probably the last time we’ll go to Red Robin. I doubt this location will be open much longer, as we have heard they are going out of biz.
