I love club 164! I am so grateful we have a place like this for the recovery community! Out in Annapolis Maryland we have a very big and amazing recovery community, and we have really needed something like this for us! It gives us super easy access to meetings, It’s right by the bus line, so it’s easy to get to for those who don’t drive, it’s a great place to work with your sponsor, and to make friends and build a sober network, and to have fun, there is even a small childrens daycare so the kids can play while you get a meeting in, so it’s nice for those who have to bring their children to meetings too! I love that there are events going on and live music sometimes, so it is a place we can also have FUN in recovery! I am very grateful we have club 164, and it is an absolutely beautiful amazing place!

It is a nice place, but it gets crowded, mostly with young people. I, personally, am tired of “young people meetings”. Anyway, the food is mostly frozen/microwave food. The coffee is decent. The main lounge area is comfortable. Parking can be difficult because most of the younger crowd hasn’t lost their driving privileges yet, I guess.
If you need somewhere to spend the day sober, you don’t want to spend much money, you don’t mind young people trying to 12 step you and you don’t mind parking a few blocks away sometimes, then you are in the right place.
