So I drove for about 45 minutes out of my way to go to Red Robin because we don’t have Red Robin where I live and when I entered the establishment I expected to be greeted and taken to my seat but instead there was about five ladies around the booth where they greet / seat you.
They were laughing and talking and looking at their cell phones and texting. Meanwhile, I’m making eye contact with them the whole time and I’m standing front and center nowhere near the to-go order line. I’m the only person standing there and I literally stood there for about 4 minutes thinking to myself I’m about ready to turn around and leave.
Finally one of the girls said are you here for a to go order
I said no. I’m waiting to be seated. She says oh, I’m sorry and I’m thinking you must not be that. Sorry, considering that’s your job and you’re not doing it.
Mind you this is going on at 2:00 in the day and It’s not that busy It’s a Saturday.
So now I’m being seated and I’ve literally just sat down in my chair and here comes this lady and I thought it was my waitress and she’s wanting me to donate to the disabled veterans or buy a gift card for Red Robin.
I don’t have a problem at all with somebody asking me to donate to the disabled veterans because of if anyone deserves a donation it would be them.
However I did let her know that I had just donated at my place of employment and that I wasn’t interested in a gift card.
And I’m thinking I literally just sat down I didn’t have a good door greeting experience and then you come out of nowhere and basically smother me with trying to sell me something.
My waitress was fantastic she took care of my every need the entire experience.
I had one of their new burgers and the garlic fries the quality of the food was fantastic.
I just wish that the people at the front door would have been paying attention to what they were supposed to be doing and not giving me that initial impression of not being wanted because that’s exactly what it felt like.
I felt like because I was a single person standing there that I wasn’t worthy to be acknowledged.
This was my first time visiting this location which is in a beautiful city.
I really hope that the right person sees this review because simple things like this can really impact your business and word of mouth is everything.
When you see this post and you see the two star rating for service and atmosphere. It is definitely not to be reflected on my waitress. Like I stated she was great.
This is purely a reflection on not being seated accordingly and being bombarded by somebody trying to sell me something.
Call me old school but your associate should be greeting the customers when they enter the establishment.

I planned on reviewing before I opened my food to eat…. Then I opened it and began my lunch….Sandwich was a 9 or 10/10. Stopped eating it because of dog hair in it . That is the ultimate turn off for me. Woman who waited on me when picking my food up was kind and helpful, though. Would’ve gotten a 10 , otherwise.

We generally love Red Robin.
My daughter had told me her previous experience the food wasn’t quite as good.
I’d been craving a really good, juicy Red Robin burger and fries for a couple of weeks. So I met my daughter there for dinner when I was in her area.
Unfortunately, I felt like it wasn’t up to the usual standards on this occasion either.
Recognizing there probably isn’t a lot of turnover on gluten free buns, it was on the stale side. The burger was dry.
They were quite busy. As wait times were rather long and it was later with a long drive home for me, I didn’t want to have the meal remade and just ate it.
Since this wasn’t a one-off, I have to wonder if there’s been a change in kitchen staff.

Atmosphere-4 stars- Very clean and popular burger spot. Lots of Americano and pop culture decor. Full bar and plenty of seating.

Service- 4 stars- even though very busy we were seated immediately. Our waitress was on the ball. Drinks and food came fast and she was very attentive.

Food- 4 stars- I got the smashed avocado and bacon cheese burger with bottomless fries. Was a solid burger and fries very good. Would highly recommend.

Yummmm…

Red Robin is one of my favorite restaurants. Not only is the building such a trendy blast from the past, but they make amazing food! No matter if I’m getting a burger, a sandwich or salad, I am always leaving satisfied and happy after a day out with my husband or our family. Don’t get me started on their french fries! They keep all of the condiments that you need on the table, including the seasoning salt for your fries. They have very yummy dippers for your fries or your burgers. They also have a wonderful birthday club and we really enjoy going to this location often.

The restaurant has a throwback feel. I always love looking at the walls or above my head at the artwork and collages they have created. Make sure to check out the Pac-Man figures decor!

The only reason that I’m giving this review, a four-star is because I don’t believe that they employ enough servers. When you offer something unlimited such as their fries, there should be somebody checking in on you more often. I don’t know if they need to hire more actual servers so then they can be more attentive to their tables or if they need to have runners who go around and check on the requests for another helping.

The lobby has some really cool seating and balloons for the kids. There’s also some benches outside for overflow or if somebody just wants to get some fresh air while they’re waiting.

Great for lunch, dinner and dessert. Happy hour available. Bat onsite with great cocktails, beer and wine.

Overall:

Food: Amazing! Very tasty!

Service: Polite, but could be more attentive.

Atmosphere: Awesome!

Restrooms: Changing stations for babies. Could be checked in on a little more often simply because the restaurant tends to get very crowded.

While the food initially tasted fine, the severe heartburn that followed lasted for a couple of days and completely ruined the experience. This was at the Red Robin in Washington, Pennsylvania, and it honestly makes me question how the food is being prepared there. A reaction like that isn’t normal and raises serious concerns about the amount of grease or ingredients being used. To be on the safe side, I’d avoid this location — or possibly Red Robin in general. A sour stomach and lingering heartburn seem to be their gift to you that keeps on giving.

Food was average, all you can eat fries are dry/not good, no one at table ate their fries. Get the broccoli. They didn’t have pizza which we really wanted. Prices are low, 4 adults meals/drinks only $65

Had a nice lunch. I have only been to a Red Robin once before, and that was many years ago. Loved the atmosphere and the food was good as was the service. It was a bit on the pricey side for a burger place, but the unique variety of burgers was fun. I got the spicy one with jalapeños and a ghost pepper aioli. Yum!

We felt very rushed during our visit. The server brought our check out at the same time as our entrées and told us we could basically pay and leave. After dropping off the food, we never saw her again—no check-in, no refills, nothing. While we were still eating, she walked past and said, “You’re good to go,” which made us feel like we were being pushed out rather than welcomed.

If the goal is to turn tables quickly or limit orders of the endless sides, that should be communicated upfront. As it was, the experience felt uncomfortable and unwelcoming, and not what we expect when dining out.
