I came here for dinner with my boyfriend during the holiday season purely because I was attracted to the over-the-top holiday decorating inside. Very cute! The signature holiday cocktails were great: we had the peppermint espresso martini and gingerbread old-fashioned. The food was good, but nothing to write home about. The roasted brussel sprouts appetizer was probably the highlight. Mostly crispy, and great flavor and texture profile. I had the turkey ciabatta as my main course, which I really liked, but my boyfriend’s burger was lackluster and overcooked. We also both agreed that the roasted potatoes were a let-down: great crispiness but absolutely no seasonings at all!

Wine was spectacular – especially the wine on tap. Bartenders were awesome. Very large selection of wine and they were very knowledgeable. Would I wait 30+ min again for the chicken Marsala? No. Green beans and mashed potatoes were solid. Chicken was dry. Not much flavor to it either. But, in Annapolis, should’ve gotten a seafood dish. Otherwise, top notch restaurant. It also tends to run hot in there.

Went here for lunch and wine. Had a great bartender John. He is very personable and easy going. He made great food and wine suggestions. The pizzas are so good and then I completed my meal with a delicious creme brulee.

Wow! What a great place.
I contacted Red, Red Wine when planning a Galentine’s Day Happy Hour gathering for our retired womens’ group. Lisa replied by email and was very accommodating. When I arrived a bit early, they helped me to set up. Sara was the bartender/server this afternoon, and she did an amazing job of keeping eight different orders straight. Their happy hour drink and food specials are delicious and very reasonable. The daily wine specials were a great value for $5. The individual size crab dip was really yummy, as were the brussel sprouts. I have been planning happy hour events for a year for our group, and this place definitely gets my vote for best Happy Hour around Annapolis.

Came here for the first time last night. It’s a cute wine bar with a lively vibe. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Had a live band and tvs near the bar area. The drink selection is large for wine of course but they do have cocktail and beer options. The staff was friendly and checked on us plenty. The food options are good too and there are some vegetarian/vegan options as well. The noise level is pretty high but I think that’s to be expected in a lively bar environment. Street parking can be an issue but there are several parking garages a couple or few blocks away. Overall I’d say this is a great date night spot or one for friends to gather.

I will start by saying that this used to be one of my favorite spots for a date with my spouse. Having said that it’s been years since we’ve been back. We met some friends there who were with a party, however we were kind of ancillary to the party. I was ignored for quite some kind by the bartender. Eventually we were greeted by a very sweet waitress who took her time chatting beer with my spouse and giving recommendations to us. This is where our experience went down hill. The bartender, whose name I later learned was Kelly, then begins to berate the waitress for serving us despite having ignored my presence. It was very uncomfortable and unnecessary. Having spent years in the service industry, I feel like it’s a general rule of thumb to take your grievances out of the eyes of the public and certainly not to belittle a coworker in the bar area. She then proceeds to very rudely and abruptly alert the bar that they are cut off for a private event and when asked (very nicely by a patron when the cut off was so that her party could respect the time limitations) she rolled her eyes and huffed and puffed at the patron. It honestly left a bad taste in my mouth and makes me hesitant to return. I’m certainly not a stranger to emotions running high in loud and busy service environments, but someone should definitely have a conversation with her about the way she treats coworkers and guests alike.

Great location right in the middle of all the downtown Annapolis action with super friendly staff.
Our dinner was delicious, but the chicken empanadas not so much. That was a bit of a let-down as they sounded amazing. Wine flights were fun, just wish there were more options for the flights…
The kid’s cheese pizza was good, so I am curious about their other pizzas…
The 4 star…not that anything was wrong…just not as amazing as we were hoping…but it stayed busy…so maybe we just needed to get the right thing.

I have been coming here for about a year now. I always enjoy the atmosphere and the service. If you happen to visit when Sara is tending, be sure to ask her about her latest signature drink, “Sara’s Luxardo Mojito”. It was my privilege to have been the first person to witness it’s creation and to taste the magic of this refreshing Mojito. I highly recommend it. Also the “Gus” Pizza. Delicious. Shout out to Hunter and Sara. Thank you.
