Car hops are a rarity and this place was so much fun. It’s on a very busy US 322 that has less impressive food options. Getting in and out can be a little tricky because of the trucks and speeding traffic, but it’s worth the death-defying and easy-to-miss entrance. The server was on top of things, the food was amazing, and for 3 people having burgers, fries and drinks, it was an affordable meal for under $35, tip not included. Next time we go back for their soft serve ice cream!

Iconic local burger joint just outside of Harrisburg. It along 322 and next to a couple large fast stations and truck stops.. lots of traffic passing thru so it’s always busy when it’s open. It’s a typical burger and shake place from days gone by. They come to your car but you can also go up to the window to order. They only take cash and have an ATM there. The recipe and secret bunny sauce is what makes me come back after so many years, every time I get up that way. Definitely worth at least a visit!

Like taking a step back in time! The drive-up car service is the real draw here along with the retro feel. Milkshakes were great, love that they come in a perfect small size if you don’t want a gigantic one. Bunny burger was good but expensive for a run of the mill cheeseburger. Service was a little slow but we visited during peak summer hours so that is to be expected.

Old School, True Americarna. Flip your 4 ways on and the Carhop comes to your vehicle to take your order and brings it to you and puts the tray on your window like they did in the 50s. It’s a step back in time. Can’t beat under $13 for a Fried Chicken Steak sandwich, fry, and a large drink. Never had a bad experience here. Keep up the good work.

I happened to be in the area visiting a friend so I stopped by after years of driving past it. I’m glad I didn’t make a special trip from my home. Kids would get a kick out of being served in your car and it brought back great memories for me having experienced that when I was a kid.

That said, the food can best be described as mediocre. I had a double bunny burger, which was OK; the fries and vanilla milkshake were nothing special.

The service was really good, but I don’t have any need to go back again & spend $18+ for a double burger, fries & a medium milkshake.

Loved the chili but not the bbq. This place is usually packed so expect a wait. They have quarter machines to entertain the kids while you wait and a little car to ride and carousel. Staff was friendly. Good service.

Sweet 50’s style drive in with excellent, friendly service and delicious food! 9/9 family members recommend! We ordered bunny burgers, a cheese burger, hotdog, fries, and milkshakes (chocolate, peanut butter, cheesecake, and blue goo!). All of the food was fantastic and we enjoyed our time sitting at the picnic table – which was large enough for all 9 of us to comfortably sit together! Absolutely recommend this family-owned restaurant for a memorable time out with family and friends!

Simple food that tastes good.
Like an old school carhop drive-in. Servers don’t wear rollerskates though. Probably insurance liability nowadays!
I got the red rabbit burger deluxe or whatever they call it. Its their signature burger. Just cuz I didn’t remember the name of the burger doesn’t mean it wasn’t delicious. It was so good it gave me amnesia! Lol.
Fries n a chocolate shake!
There is a reason why this place is still doing business for the last 27yrs or more.
I first stopped at this place when I was 18 (Im 45 now) and would go to visit a friend in Mansfield as I was driving from Lancaster.
Its a nice midway point to grab a bite and keep it moving!
Its glad to know that some things haven’t changed in this crazy world!
RED RABBIT keep the great food hoppin’
