We’ve been buying food from them since their Park to Shop days. At first we were a little sad about the move but after seeing the new location, There’s so much more space and an even wider selection of food.
We always order the duck and pork belly, and they’ve stayed consistently generous with their portions. Everything is seasoned well and always delicious. Next time, we’re planning to dine in and enjoy the new space.

We loved Red Pepper when they were in Park to Shop. Now the have their own space with Ah Yin’s BBQ. Both restaurants are amazing. The quality of food is so good. We had beef chow fun, salt and pepper shrimp, salt and pepper tofu, and choy-sum with garlic. We ordered char soy to go. The food was hot and fresh and amazing. This is our go-to Chinese restaurant. Very authentic and not Americanized.

It is open 2 weeks ago for soft opening. This is my favourite BBQ Chinese restaurant that is previously located in the Park to Shop food court.
Now they have expanded and added lots of options dishes.
They do have spacious dine in area for family to dine in.
My favourite dish that I tryout throughout my 3 visit there are as follows:
1) Crispy Pork Belly
2) Soy Sauce Chicken
3) Ah Yin Roasted Duck
4) Deep Fried Garlics Rib
5) Steamed Garlic Shrimp with vermicelli
6) Beef Chow Fun
7) Sizzling Chicken and Intestines in dry pot
8) Japanese Tofu with Mushroom
9) Cantonese Soy Sauce Chow Mein
10) Sizzling baby Octopus on iron plate
11) Twice Cooked pork with kimchi
So far that’s all what I tried and love ❤️ it so much. Will try out more dishes and upload more picture in future.
If you like spicy this is the right place you can try out. Lots of options and the server is friendly and helpful…..

Services was pretty good, we got there it was full, we waited maybe 20min they quickly cleaned the table for us

The bbq were just OK, nothing changed from when they were at park to shop, very average but I mean, you don’t need to go to Chinatown for chinese bbq so yea…its fair lol the other dish from red pepper were so-so, I think the better chef is still at the park to shop location LOL

Food and service were excellent for the burbs. We dined in for dinner. However the overhead lighting is really bright and harsh for the eyes. Made the restaurant feel fast food and uncomfortable to eat in even though the decor is elegant.

Our normal Chinese place changed ownership and the quality and flavor decreased significantly. This place just opened up nearby and did not disappoint. We ordered ahead for pickup. The service was great and the kids were very freindly and quick. Everything we tried was delicious and can’t wait to try the Chinese BBQ next. We now have our go-to spot back!

Very respected now versus Fox Valley Mall! The head of the house and the waiter is awesome! He is very hard working, polite and takes care of complaints with customers… I ordered some takeout pork that was very fatty and uneditable. I came back a week or so later and told him they gave me pork for free that was more edible. This head of the house of Red Pepper needs a raise he is awesome…

Let me start by saying that the food was amazing. Everything my friends and I order was delicious!!! There was not a single dish I did not like. My all time favorite was the spicy kimchi pork. So much favor was in that dish and it went very well with white rice. It complimented each other amazingly. I would say the same for the spicy tilapia. The sizzling squid was also delicious. I added some spicy oil to give it a kick, which worked perfectly! My friends love the seafood chow mein. Overall, the experience was great. The food was to die for and service was great. The staff was so friendly and sweet. A 10/10 for sure

Everything was delicious, the BBQ duck was succulent and savory. My wife is picky when it comes to chinese food, but she was thoroughly impressed!
Pretty big selection here, so we’ll definitely return. It’s nice to see more asian places flourish around here.
