Bay Pepper entrée & he had the combination fried rice- they are the best we’ve had from the Dallas area in a long time. Less than $25 for both. Definitely will be coming back when we’re in the area.
The restaurant itself doesn’t have curbside or upon entering enthusiasm, with hardly any smell coming from the back. I can imagine that this place is not considered Schezchaun, Mongolian, or Cantonese style Chinese food. Although I was asked to return to the store for a refund, I can’t imagine stepping back into the place because the food was so disgusting and I driven too far. They wrap your bags so tight before leaving, when I should have been offered the opportunity to look at the food before leaving. I will never be back. BEWARE!
I think this restaurant should have never been opened if food was going to be played over versus prepared. The menu is misleading and out of alignment with the real product.
I happened to stumble upon this hidden gem when it had just opened. I was a bit skeptical at first since there was no one there — but I’m so glad I gave it a shot. The food was incredibly fresh and made to order. I started with the chicken wings and fried pot stickers, and they absolutely did not disappoint.
One standout was the chef’s homemade hot oil sauce — it was nothing short of amazing and added the perfect kick.
Since then, I’ve been back at least three more times. Even when it’s busy, the service remains friendly and on point. I’ve tried several dishes now, and every single one has been outstanding.
If I had to recommend just one item, it would be the fried pot stickers — they’re a must-try. But honestly, whatever you choose, you can’t go wrong.
boy that was my lucky day. Ordered Hot Szechuan Beef & Shrimp and was delicious, so much have to go back for more a week later. The third time had Hunan Style Beef & Shrimp and was equaly good. Awesome spring Rolls.
Jovanny, was an absolute legend. He knew the menu like it was his life’s calling. I asked for something “bold and unforgettable,” and he recommended something that changed my palate forever: the Dragon and Phoenix. I cried from the sheer joy.
Every dish was a masterpiece. Fried catfish? Crunchy outside, soft inside. It was so good, I could have started praise dancing. The chicken wings and fried rice? My palate has never tasted anything like it before.
And just when I thought the night couldn’t get better, the owner, Mario, came by to check on us. Not in a robotic, “how’s everything?” way—but with genuine warmth, like he needed to know if his food had sparked joy. Spoiler: it did.
I left Red Panda feeling like I had just attended a Michelin-starred Broadway show where the lead actor was flavor itself. Dallas, you’ve outdone yourself. I’m already planning my next visit—and this time, I’m bringing everyone I love.
Bravo, Red Panda. BRAVO.
