New chinese place.
Bay Pepper entrée & he had the combination fried rice- they are the best we’ve had from the Dallas area in a long time. Less than $25 for both. Definitely will be coming back when we’re in the area.

Went to try out this place since I received a pamphlet and I gotta say, after one bite of the Sesame chicken, I did not put the fork down! The chicken accompanied with such a savory sauce and the rice was cooked perfectly! While I do wish it had a bit more broccoli, it was still delicious regardless! Will definitely come back again!

i absolutely love chinese food and it’s kind of hard to find good food in the oak cliff area, and this place has met all my expectations! i normally get the sesame chicken and dumplings (steamed) and it’s perfect each time! ordering this same dish again today and i know they won’t disappoint:)

We ordered take out for my family of eight. I got 7 different entrees since this was our first time here. The customer service was good and the food was great!! Our order was ready in about 10-15 minutes and great pricing. My husband & kids loved the food so much that everyone got seconds. Definitely recommended!!!

I don’t know where the reviewers and customers ate, but it most definitely cannot be at Red Panda Chinese. I drove to this restaurant on my lunch break (12:30PM) and was so disappointed. I ordered egg foo yung and a veggie lo mein. The “egg foo yung” was hidden under a bed of steamed vegetables when the cook knew it was a mound of mushy and burnt mess with some doughy/floury consistency like a cornbread dressing. Additionally, the lo mein was sub par as well with canned baby corn, huge bell peppers, and an entreé that tastes more like a fusion of Mexican food flavors. The fried rice tastes like old stale chips, with a splash of soy sauce. I reminds me of a dry and nasty Mexican rice. No love is put into this food at all.

The restaurant itself doesn’t have curbside or upon entering enthusiasm, with hardly any smell coming from the back. I can imagine that this place is not considered Schezchaun, Mongolian, or Cantonese style Chinese food. Although I was asked to return to the store for a refund, I can’t imagine stepping back into the place because the food was so disgusting and I driven too far. They wrap your bags so tight before leaving, when I should have been offered the opportunity to look at the food before leaving. I will never be back. BEWARE!

I think this restaurant should have never been opened if food was going to be played over versus prepared. The menu is misleading and out of alignment with the real product.

A True Hidden Gem!

I happened to stumble upon this hidden gem when it had just opened. I was a bit skeptical at first since there was no one there — but I’m so glad I gave it a shot. The food was incredibly fresh and made to order. I started with the chicken wings and fried pot stickers, and they absolutely did not disappoint.

One standout was the chef’s homemade hot oil sauce — it was nothing short of amazing and added the perfect kick.

Since then, I’ve been back at least three more times. Even when it’s busy, the service remains friendly and on point. I’ve tried several dishes now, and every single one has been outstanding.

If I had to recommend just one item, it would be the fried pot stickers — they’re a must-try. But honestly, whatever you choose, you can’t go wrong.

I don’t even know where to begin—because Red Panda didn’t just serve me dinner, it served me a full-blown emotional experience. From the moment I walked in, I felt like family. Jovanny greeted me like I was a friend who had moved away for years.

Jovanny, was an absolute legend. He knew the menu like it was his life’s calling. I asked for something “bold and unforgettable,” and he recommended something that changed my palate forever: the Dragon and Phoenix. I cried from the sheer joy.

Every dish was a masterpiece. Fried catfish? Crunchy outside, soft inside. It was so good, I could have started praise dancing. The chicken wings and fried rice? My palate has never tasted anything like it before.

And just when I thought the night couldn’t get better, the owner, Mario, came by to check on us. Not in a robotic, “how’s everything?” way—but with genuine warmth, like he needed to know if his food had sparked joy. Spoiler: it did.

I left Red Panda feeling like I had just attended a Michelin-starred Broadway show where the lead actor was flavor itself. Dallas, you’ve outdone yourself. I’m already planning my next visit—and this time, I’m bringing everyone I love.
Bravo, Red Panda. BRAVO.
