I don’t know what is happening with trying to save the company from going under but the food quality has gone down, the biscuits are no longer craveable, and the cozy atmosphere has become seafood focused Applebee’s. The seafood doesn’t appear to be the main focus on the plate and a small lobster tail is a $20 add on! Also, the online menu is about $5-$6 cheaper than the printed menus inside the restaurant which we noticed when we were ordering a meal to-go for a family member. I try to support this place to keep it around but it’s becoming hard to justify the cost and visibly unhappy staff who’s smiles seem as genuine as the seafood. I don’t know how much longer I’ll be able to be convinced by my kids to eat here so they can see the tiny live lobsters that few can afford in the tank.

Always greeted with a smile right when I walk in here. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable on their entire (pretty extensive!) menu that always have wonderful recommendations for both food and drinks that are new to the menu. They keep the entire place from the bar to the bathrooms spotless and give it a great atmosphere. I always leave with a happy tummy and looking forward to the next time I’m going to come back!

Red Lobster has really stepped their game up! Great new menu items. The new boils did not disappoint! The service was fantastic. All around awesome dining experience on a date night with the wife.

While visiting here in Temecula, Ca for our 6yr Anniversary; my husband
& I chose Red Lobster to kick off our weekend, what an excellent choice, upon arrival we were met with Manager James Currie; he has such a great attitude in checking us in; without reservations; the wait was about 15 minutes; & then we were escorted to our table; Ms Neffy what can I say about you; if I had to eat out every day I would want you to be my server; your patience; smile, energy was above & beyond your job expectations; you entertained us with; deep conversations from your job here; to your future career in nursing; the right person for the job; I wish you could spread the joy you bring to all customers everywhere; I could go on & on about you; I say to you; stay true to who you are & you will always win. Thank you & may God continue to Bless you

The restaurant was completely empty, but the story started with: “We need you to wait 10–15 minutes to seat you at a table.” Then our conversation deepened with the question, “Why are we waiting when there are empty tables?” Apparently, the reason was a lack of staff.

After that, we placed our order without any issues. Thirty minutes later, the silence was broken when the waiter at Red Lobster told us that the dish we ordered was no longer available.

We waited a long time for our food. Even though it was almost midnight, our meal arrived before we turned into pumpkins. But wait! There was no lobster on the plate, because it had run out. I was left alone with a carb-heavy menu: baked potato, french fries on the side, and pasta next to it. The waiter suggested another lobster type that I had never heard of. This time, turning into pumpkins was just a matter of time.

At the end of the meal, we had to correct the bill three times. The waiter asked if we wanted dessert, but after everything that had happened, we didn’t have the energy for a dessert adventure.

If your goal is more adrenaline than actually eating, and if you’re into adventures, choose this place — because it’s full of surprises.

Food was great, service was even better. At the end of our meal, one of the employees took the time to show a lobster to the kids and told them interesting facts about lobsters. All in all, it was a great dining experience.

*Time:* 3:30 pm – 4:40 pm

*Location:* Temecula, CA

We visited Red Lobster during their advertised seafood boil promotion, but our experience fell short of expectations. Upon arrival, we noticed a lack of signage and advertisement outside. Inside, the restaurant was empty with tables in disarray. The hostess barely cleaned our table, leaving it wet, and we had to request a different table.

Our drink order was incorrect, and the bartender informed us they were out of Grey Goose after serving us Grey Goose and water. The on-duty manager’s customer service was particularly disappointing. When we brought the issue to their attention, they failed to introduce themselves, didn’t apologize, and simply stated, “I took the drink off your bill” without any effort to make it right. There was no “hi, how are you?” or “can I offer you another drink?” – just a rushed and impersonal interaction.

The manager’s lack of engagement and poor customer service set the tone for the rest of our experience. They never made an effort to come back around to check on us or thank us for coming, leaving us feeling like our business wasn’t valued.

We ordered an espresso martini, which tasted like chocolate milk with no scent or taste of alcohol. My marine boil lacked flavor and wasn’t served with lemon slices or seasoning. My husband’s shrimp Alfredo had no flavor, overcooked noodles, and a sticky sauce. The children’s menu needs more options, such as linguine noodles with Alfredo.

Our waiter, Daliaha, tried her best, but the leadership seemed lacking. We were told the store manager was out sick, but the on-duty manager’s performance was still disappointing.

The ambiance was also off, with dark lighting and outdated music.

Given the hype around the new vision, we were expecting a revitalized experience reminiscent of Red Lobster’s past glory. Unfortunately, our visit was a disappointment.

However, I want to emphasize that our disappointment lies with the specific location’s execution, not with the company’s overall direction under the current CEO’s leadership. We appreciate the efforts to revamp and improve, and we hope this feedback will be taken constructively to enhance the customer experience.

*Recommendations:*

– Improve exterior signage, advertisement, and ambiance
– Ensure tables are clean and well-maintained
– Provide accurate drink orders
– Train staff on customer service and introductions
– Update children’s menu options
– Ensure managers check in with customers and thank them for their business
– Improve management’s customer service skills and engagement

We hope to see improvements in the future.

New waitress?. But did very good. Asparagus was a bit dry and could need butter. The biscuits not moist like before. It has been over ten years since we were at a red lobster.

We arrived early to our reservation and were seated very quickly. The service was immaculate, and our food came out very quickly, they were kind from the moment we were greeted. The restaurant was very clean as we visited the Chula Vista location and weren’t as pleased this location feels like I’m walking into a 5 star restaurant. The mariners boil was delicious and as someone who loves a kick, adding the spice to the Cajun butter made is far more savory. It has been the best addition to your menu and it drew me to try red lobster for the first time. My husband’s filet was cooked to perfection. We had a great waitress and the manager was extremely attentive to ensuring a great experience to us.
