We went to Red Lobster for the all you can eat shrimp fest, and it was great! Even though it was full, it was not crowded. I don’t know if they rearranged the tables or put more barriers between, but even my hyper vigilant husband was comfortable.

The salad was absolutely fantastic! The lettuce was fresh and crisp. The ranch dressing was absolutely excellent! The calamari was phenomenal! For the main course I had a 6oz steak, lobster and baked potato. I must admit the steak was really tender and had a nice flavor. The lobster definitely wasn’t what I was expecting from a sea food restaurant. It really lacked in flavor and seemed as though it was boiled with a very rubber texture. It also had a very fishy flavor unlike lobster that is prepared properly should. The baked potato was delicious!

It was lunch and I didn’t want a lot of food. I ordered Walt’s shrimp , a salad, and ice tea. Of course we got the wonderful cheddar biscuits. My salad name shortly after warm biscuits. In a reasonable amount of time the shrimp were delivered. They are lightly breaded and warm . They have a crispy coating and taste great. My salad had blue cheese dressing and croutons. Everything was very good. Service was excellent. My waitress was efficient. Lunch was around $15.00. I would also recommend the stuffed flounder.

First impression: Opening the front door, and it was a black sticky handle that was coming off (had to wash my hands). Then sat and waited for a table and listened to a speaker above my head that was blow and sounded horrible. The waiter was nice and attentive. Got our drinks and orders in a timely manner. Food came in a normal in a normal time.

This is a favorite place for the family to come for endless shrimp on special occasions, or to make a regular day a little special. We always enjoy getting Kathryn as our server because she is such a kind and fun person and takes great care of us. The food is reliably good, and we come for late lunches so it’s not busy and we get fresh food and fast service.

This Red Lobster is definitely not as prestigious as the restaurant chain used to be. The atmosphere was a weird awkward quiet. The waitress was nice, but she quickly became a little irritable, repeating what sounded like a scripted greeting and responses. She was nice to my children. The food for the price was ridiculous. You are paying for the fact that it is seafood you are eating and not the taste and quality. I used to love Red Lobster, my mother would take us when I was a child and I remember it was held in a high standard, not like today.

Red Lobster is hard to beat when it comes to seafood. The menu offers fish, steak and, of course, shellfish cooked any way you want and can be ordered alone or in a variety of entrees. Beers, wines, and mixed drinks are offered. I tried a seasonal mixed drink called a Mango Martini, which was different and delicious. The portions are plentiful, but an appetizer is shareable and must be tried. The dessert menu is tempting, but you will probably need to get it to go!
