At Red Lobster, we don’t just serve your seafood favorites—we serve an experience that makes you happy. That can’t-stop-smiling, pass-the-Cheddar Bay Biscuits kind of happy. We call it Reel Happiness. It’s the joy that comes when the lobster hits the table, the shrimp hits just right, and the butter’s perfect for double-dipping. Whether you’re celebrating a milestone or just indulging on any given day, every visit feels like an occasion even if there isn’t one. So pull up a chair, grab a biscuit (or three). We’ve got seafood, smiles, and good vibes. Come experience Reel Happiness at your Monroe Red Lobster.

I had a new snow crab dish with Cajun butter which was wonderful. Not too much spice. It’s not served with a typical small container of butter to dip the crab into, instead the butter and spices are all over the crab and you dip the crab into sauce that’s on your plate. It was delicious.
My wife had the stuffed sole which is a very light fish, similar to tilapia. The stuffing was a seafood mixture. It was also delicious.
We skipped desert but they had a new key lime pie that looked delicious. Perhaps next time.
For drinks we had a flight of margaritas. Neither of us were fond of them at all. The watermelon didn’t taste like watermelon and the Carribean blue tasted like a regular margarita to me. The one that I liked the best was the passion fruit. I’ll skip these next time and go with the sangria which is my “go to” typically.
Service was with a smile! Our waitress was very nice and talkative. She told us that apparently the reason most Red Lobsters are close was because of their gamble on the previously offered All You Can Eat shrimp. They lost a lot of money on that and have discontinued it.
Food was good, as usual.
Service could be improved. Particularly they served me with unwrapped bacon wrapped scallops.
Original lobster pizza was much crunchier & much better than the flatbread. Flatbread is disappointing & more bready.
Since our RL burned down last fall we’ve been trying to get over to another one. We’ve also missed out on our dessert rewards (expired). MAHI MAHI IS WHAT I CAME FOR; GARLIC CRAB ALFREDO FOR THE HUSBAND. WHAT A NASTY, NASTY SURPRISE!!! I hate other seafood so mussels, clams, salmon & most shrimp are just crap to me. CRAP. JUST CRAP & SO DISAPPOINTING.
We did leave a very good tip….was not her fault. She says that shes had a few customers get up & leave. I wish we did. We typically spend over $100 every time we come in.
