On January 22nd, I intended to use my birthday coupon and savor a shrimp lunch, so we visited Red Lobster after the lunch rush.
The host promptly greeted us and escorted us to our seats. The dining area was relatively empty, with patrons exhibiting peaceful demeanor.
Our server, Markie, demonstrated exceptional hospitality, showcasing a pleasant personality and patience. She thoroughly explained the menu, addressing our inquiries without displaying any signs of frustration.
Having already decided on my selection, my wife took a little longer to order due to the recent menu changes. She opted for a grenadine Coke, while I requested water with easy ice.
Markie delivered freshly baked garlic biscuits, which served as a delightful appetizer. Subsequently, she took our food orders; my wife chose the salmon with rice, and I selected the Trio shrimp, consisting of garlic shrimp scampi, shrimp linguine, and popcorn shrimp.
Both meals were delectable and generously portioned, resulting in leftovers and a satisfying conclusion to our lunch.
To conclude our meal, we sampled the brownie dessert, which unfortunately did not meet my expectations, unlike the chocolate cake alternative.
The brownie was somewhat hard and unpalatable, we managed to enjoy a few bites accompanied by fudge and whipped cream.
This minor issue did not detract from our overall experience, primarily due to Markie’s exceptional service.
She kept our drinks full and we appreciated being well attended throughout our visit. I highly recommend visiting and requesting Markie.

Jamie took great care of me, just after a big rush hit and the staff was short handed. She took time to recommend great dishes and poured me a couple nice drinks as well. The crew in the back was efficient and my food was cooked just the way I ordered—even my steak was medium-rare, as requested Definitely recommend the Choose Your Own platter, hush puppies, and the famous Cheddar Bay biscuits.

I was pleasantly surprised by how good the food was. Starting with the cheddar biscuits (always a classic fave). The lobster flatbread was delicious, loved the tomatos on it. As was the bacon macaroni which, was slightly dry, but still had great flavor!
And IF you haven’t had it, DEFINITELY try New Ultimate Spend Less shrimpies! My favorite was the Shrimp Alfredo, but the popcorn shrimp was on point!

Let me start with the clam chowder soup. This is the worst I have ever had. The soup is straight from a can, very disgusting. Then, I ordered the shrimp and sausage jambalaya as a main course. As a 20 plus dollar dinner, the presentation is zero. It looks like a kid was playing with it in the back. Check out the picture below. As far as my server, I will rate him 1 out of 10 just because he brought out the food. I was a server for over 7 years, so I know a decent server. When I was a server, if I bring an appetizer to my customer such as a soup and notice that he or she only eats just a little bit of it and put the rest on the side, I would automatically question if you didn’t like it or are you taking it home, or do you prefer to eat it with the main course like some people do. The thing is I have previously ordered this meal over the phone for pickup and every time the person on the phone always asks me if I want mild, or very spicy as there is a level of spiciness that the meal can be prepared with. But, my server didn’t bother asking for all that. So, when the food came out, thankfully it wasn’t that spicy. I guess he automatically assumed that I wanted something mild. Then, never check back after dropping the food to check whether I like it or not. Absolutely poor service. But, I still left 20% tip just because I don’t want to fit their stereotype that black people don’t tip. Red lobster won’t see my face for a while. Plus I am from south Florida and this is last restaurant that comes to mind when I am in Florida. Lastly I am writing this review almost 24 hours after I ate there, and I can still taste that disgusting clam chowder soup whenever I swallow my saliva ♂️ ♂️. I guess it’s in my brain.

It was okay. The waiter didn’t look like you wanted to be there and never smiled. Was it intensive to but the food was good. I don’t think I would revisit this one ❤️

We came in for my mom’s birthday and had the best experience with our server Nicolle. She was incredibly knowledgeable, polite and made my mom feel very special. She took the extra time to make sure our large group was well taken care of and never let us wait a second for refills and other needs. Stuffed mushrooms always great, lobster and coconut shrimp still my favorite, biskies hot and everyone was happy (including the kids). Would come back in a heartbeat, esp with the great service. It makes a huge difference when your waitress gives you a top notch experience such as Nicolle did. Keep up the good work Red Lobster!

We hadn’t been to this Red Lobster location in quite a while. Our last few visits, some time ago, the service, food, and portions were noticeably going downhill, so we stopped going altogether. Tonight, we decided to give it another shot, and I’m so glad we did.
From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt welcoming. It was dimly lit but still comfortable, and every employee we encountered was smiling and genuinely seemed happy to be there. Even the district manager stopped by our table to check on us and greeted us with a warm, friendly smile, which immediately set the tone for the night.
The absolute star of our experience was our server, Liz. She had great energy, a constant smile, and made us feel taken care of from start to finish. She was attentive without being overbearing, checked in at all the right times, kept our drinks full, and never made us feel rushed. She was knowledgeable, friendly, patient, and genuinely pleasant to talk with, which made the entire dining experience even better.
The food was excellent. Portions were generous, prices felt fair, and everything tasted fresh and on point. Refills were never an issue, and Liz made sure we had everything we needed before we even had to ask.
Overall, this visit completely changed our view of this location. Between the improved food, welcoming atmosphere, and outstanding service from Liz, we’ll definitely be back. If you’re on the fence about returning, this experience is proof that it’s worth another try. No wait on a Friday night was an extra bonus!

Celebrating a birthday, and it was great. If you are at the Lafayette Indiana location, and you really want to do it right, try to get seated in the section that Darius T is working in. He’s a rockstar!

Took the build your own meal as main course with Maine Lobster, Grilled Shrimp, Shrimp Linguini Alfredo as premium/classic sections, mashed potatoes and Chesapeake fries as sides. Was willing to try the snow crab legs but could not since they didn’t have crab breakers. However, all the items tasted really good. The quantity was sufficient too. For dessert, took brownie overload which comes with ice cream and tasted so good. Also tried the Classic Margarita Cocktail and it was really good too.
