This Red Lobster takes reservations online, but it evidently doesn’t really mean anything. We waited about 20 minutes after our time to be seated, and while we waited multiple people with reservations left over this.
That being said, it didn’t really impact our visit. We had a good server once seated and enjoyed our food. We did notice that some other tables were getting horribly slow service.
We had the sailors boil and the pick 2 shrimp with popcorn shrimp and shrimp scampi. I was very impressed by my boil. I got it spicy with garlic butter and was pleased with that choice. The attached picture doesn’t look very well seasoned, but once mixed it was plenty. It had 24 small/medium shrimp, 2 pieces of corn, 2 red potatoes cut in half, and a surprisingly plentiful portion of sausage. The shrimo scampi, popcorn shrimp, and mashed potatoes were all very good as well.

We came in craving Crab Fest crab legs & had an excellent server, Armani. She came up & asked if we knew what drinks & food we wanted & we were ready!!
She was courteous & friendly, yet very efficient!
She brought every & any thing we wanted! She checked on us regularly without being intrusive – sign of a great server!
Loved our food & server!!
The only negative would be we arrived at 2 pm. There were very few cars in the parking lot & the manager had us wait 15 minutes to be seated. We were the only customers in the waiting area.
That’s a personnel management issue.

We arrived at 6:40 pm on Tuesday Feb 17th at the Franklin, Tn location. Restaurant was not busy. There were 8 of our family dining out for my daughter’s 40th birthday. The waitress only brought 2 drinks at a time. Took 15 min for everyone to have a drink. We didn’t get our food until 7:50 pm. Over $200 bill after the manager took off two appetizers. Food was not that great. Two of the teenagers took two bites of their food and couldn’t eat it. Very disappointed and will not be going back.

It was Valentine’s Day and we didn’t have a reservation! We had to wait 2+ hours, but clearly the staff and the kitchen were doing their very best. Coffee and soft drinks were pricey, but I thought our dinners were a tad underpriced. Our waiter was very nice and hustled. Great food, as always. My GF worked as a Hostess at a busy Red Lobster in Orlando many years ago, so she was not upset with the wait. Patience is a virtue, y’all.

Amazing service from Ru! Super friendly! The appetizers were excellent and as always the biscuits were delicious! Unfortunately the main dish was very disappointing looked & tasted like a frozen entree. But really really appreciated the amazing service

Was gonna leave this review forever ago but completely forgot opps! Well we came threw on Feb 14th and wow was it busy though we did wait forever to get seated the host Mackenzie was doing her absolute best trying to keep everyone calm and seated as fast as she could round of applause to this girl for dealing with that large group of people basically by herself as it seemed management did not want to talk to anyone at all but she was a trooper and held high but once we got sat the food was amazing I loved it and the drinks from the bar were even better than usual Thank yall for preservering through that day! You all did amazing

My first and last time coming to this Red Lobster in Franklin, TN. We walked into the restaurant at 5pm sharp, there was no hostess at the counter up front. There was only 1 person eating at a table, but no staff in sight. After waiting for 10 minutes, calling out “hello” to see if anyone was around, we left. I then called the restaurant as soon as I got to my car, after 10 minutes nobody picked up, so I hung up. I see several other recent reviews that claim that service and management at this restaurant has been extremely poor lately. I will be escalating this issue to corporate, this is concerning for Red Lobster that a franchise in a very high net worth area is this poorly managed. I will be sharing my experience with my family and friends who live in Franklin and might have given this location their business. Fire the manager, hire actual employees, and maybe I will consider giving this location my business in the future.

Every weekday they have a daily special and I’m not sure if it’s only for lunch or if it lasts all day. The special on Tuesday is one pound of snow crab for $25! We both ordered it and my compliments to the chef! The snow crab was cooked perfectly and came out hot. It was the first time in a long time we were able to enjoy crab again. Thanks Red Lobster and their masterful chef!

We had a 6pm reservation (Valentine’s Day). We checked in at 530, and the lobby looked like Cracker Barrel on a Sunday. We headed to the bar to wait for our table. At 730, STILL waiting for our table, I tried to order an appetizer and was told the kitchen is CLOSED to all orders, while they catch up. Honestly??? You’re nearly 2 hours late in seating us and I can’t even order mozzarella sticks while we wait??? All the while you’re still taking TO GO orders over the phone!?! Even after i asked the manager to please let us order an appetizer, still nothing. We were finally sat at 810pm. I ordered a live main lobster and the waitress was shook! She didn’t even know to bring me an extra plate and bib, because she said nobody’s ever ordered on of those… SMH….
Seriously, the government runs more efficiently than this place.

We made reservations for 7pm Friday , we arrived early , approx 6:30 and told the hostess we were early , she told us it would be closer to our reservation time before we were seated. We saw plenty of tables, in fact , a waitress came out and told the hostess there were tables available. We thought maybe they were short of staff ? We noticed two other couples walked in and stated they did not have reservations but were still seated before us and they were not seated at the bar. . You would think we would be seated ahead of them since we arrived first and had reservations? Like we were penalized for arriving early. The food was fine however it took 40 minutes to receive our order and the place was not busy at all. I say not to make reservations and you will be seated faster. The hostess needs to do a better job seating people and she also looked as if she didn’t want to work that day. Also I received a reply from management asking me to reference a number and send them a message on Facebook to get more info from our experience. However , I do not have Facebook but would be willing to talk to them on the phone. So if you can send me a phone number and a contact Thank you
