Steamed snow crab was excellent and plentiful. The biscuits were worth the trip. They were short on help, out of several main menu items and the place is really getting run down, which is really unfortunate since the quality of Red Lobster’s food has improved over the years. Our server, Shirley was delightful and made our meal wonderful!

The staff was very nice and accommodating. We had so much fun celebrating our daughter’s 1st birthday. We were able to decorate and they kept the cakes and ice cream until we were ready. The food wasn’t as good as it has been in the past, but it didn’t ruin the experience.

Shay was our server and she was amazing! She had a great attitude and was very busy but tried to keep everything balanced. The service overall was slow but they said they were short staffed.

I can’t believe I had to move down south to try Red Lobster. It has been on my list for a while when I found out we had one near by. We ordered the lobster pizza for appetizer which could really be a persons meal, it was delicious and filling. We also ordered the Kung Lao pasta with crispy shrimp and the Wednesday deal which was steak and lobster tails. Everything was really great. I can’t wait to try other items on the menu.

We were told on arrival 10 min for a table. Then 15 min later, the host came out and told my husband and I and another small group it would be another hour for a table because they had a large group coming in and would need to take care of them first. The group was not there yet but they needed to “slow the kitchen down” to accommodate them so we would need to wait another hour. No telling how long it would have taken after that to get our food. I think this is a disgusting practice given we were already there and should have been served. We will never ever go there again. Seems like the only restaurants that still offer great service in the Birmingham area are the Mexican restaurants.

We waited 10 minutes before we had to go and find someone to seat us. Our waitress was Sam. My friend ordered the mushrooms for an appetizer. We had to ask for silverware and a plate to share the mushrooms. She brought us back 2 bowls. She said they didn’t have any small plates. We had to send the bowls back because she had something greasy on her hands and that was inside the bowls. We ordered an entree but could not eat it all. We asked for to-go plates. Sam brought us back to-go plates for a piece of cake. She said that was all they had. My friend ordered a to-go dinner for her husband. Sam brought it out in a regular sized to-go plate. My friend asked Sam why she could not have brought us to-go plates in that size and she said those are for the kitchen. My friend asked, “Didn’t everything come from the kitchen. Sam didn’t answer. I paid my bill with cash. Sam came back to the table and said there was no one there to give her change. So she kept it all. I LOVE Red Lobster but this experience makes me want to stay away. Customer service is essential. They failed us Wednesday, June 21st at the location in Vestavia Hills, Alabama.

Waiter was very kind but the food did not come out in a very timely manner. We had to ask for refills several times as it appeared he had forgotten. we also had to ask for more biscuits multiple times before receiving them and our food came out before the salad.

Food and service was excellent on Valentines evening. Food came out hot, on time and cooked to perfection. Server made sure our meal and visit was as perfect as it could be. Very pleased with this location and is now our preferred location to visit.
