Nuttin’ Fancy
It’s a dirty old hole in the wall dive. Right in the middle of Red Lion. So as long as you understand what that means when you walk in and you’re into that. You’ll love it. I mostly enjoy it because I know the clientele. And it’s nice to go somewhere where they know your name. The absolute gem of this establishment is their server Cindy. She could win some kind of contest for being on it with your order and remembering what you like.

One of the last smoking bars in the area. They’ll still be there long after the rest of this town fades away. They’ll be in there listening to AC/DC cracking open a cold Budweiser, and smoking Marlboros. It’s a great dive bar if you’re looking for friendly vibes and great people. It’s not fancy, so don’t go in there thinking it will be. We love it!

Cindy the barmaid on the weekends is courteous, personable, downright hilarious but still professional. Rockin’ Rich the DJ on weekends/karaoke. As a person of color, I was pleasantly surprised and delighted… always have a good time when I go there. Smokers welcomed and have pool and jukebox in the back. Only stop by infrequently weekdays, laid back then and everyone was personable. Food is good and plentiful.

A family member was accused of being transgender(not that it matters, but they aren’t) by another customer and that’s all it took for them to want to check their ID. And from the looks of other reviews, this isn’t at all surprising for this establishment. Not a very open minded place of business

A true old school dive bar. Nobody was actually smoking and yet we walked out smelling like we were chain smoking. The bartender is very friendly.

They refused to give us glasses. They made us drink out of plastic but other men and women of different color that I was sitting with were given beer and shot glasses. The owner and staffs reasoning was of theft but the other women weren’t suspected of theft despite us all sitting at the same table.. We paid full price for half shots due to them giving us tiny shot glasses. Overall the customers are great people and they make great tasting drinks. Howeber some of the staff and the owner, can be very prejudice.

Since I did my.last.inital review, the place has done a full 180°. There’s life in this bar and plenty of fun now. Kudos to management for doing their due diligence in catering to their bar patrons.
