Red Lion Diner

I really like Red Lion Diner food menu. The best breakfast option is the Breakfast Sampler for 12.99! You will be full and satisfied with the food.
Now unfortunately the waitress was dismissive, borderline rude, and disappeared a lot.
We waited a very long time for only water and toast and I mean we have never received such a dismissive service from a waitress before.
So as long as she isn’t your server you will be ok!!!

It was about a 20-minute wait but it was a Sunday afternoon. The staff was friendly & courteous the food was great and the prices were very reasonable. I definitely recommend this place and would return at a future date.

Good evening Google Family. This was my mom’s and I first visit at the Red Lion Diner. I have passed by here so many times, too many to count. I always visit my gym, the Edge gym, in this area, so I have seen this place many times and I have vowed to stop one day. Today was the day. Red lion did not disappoint. The rest rooms were clean and in order. We were seated right in front. The first seats. My mom ordered her trusty broiled tilapia with mashed potatoes and applesauce. I ordered the broiled seafood trio, which consisted of broiled shrimp, broiled flounder and broiled salmon. Simply delicious!! My mom’s only complaint was that the mashed potatoes were too salty. I also ordered an ice tea with lemon. We had a male server. We thought that we were getting the female server. We found out later that the male server had taken our table. Trisha was so kind, the only server who was female and who we wished we had. Next time, we go there we are asking for Trisha. She went over and beyond for us, even though she wasn’t our original server. She brought us brown paper bags and plastic bags and boxes for our food to take home. I also ate soup which came with my meal. My mom did not want her soup, so we took it home. And we received pudding with our meal. The choices were rice, bread, chocolate or tapioca. My mom opted for rice and I opted for bread pudding. They didn’t have banana or bread pudding. I decided on chocolate pudding. We wished we had gotten Trisha because Trisha was always working. She was never on her phone. Whenever I looked up and the male server was not serving anyone, he was on his phone. That is why he received a decreased tip, $5.00. My dear dad trained me well. He told me when you get mediocre service, that you decrease the tip. He said always give something even if they don’t deserve it. However instead of giving them the necessary and required 15% you just give less. They will know that when they received the tip that the service was not great or they did something that was not up to par. My dad rewarded those servers who went over and beyond and always increased their tip to over 15% if they were deserving and the service was outstanding. Our check was $42.29. I gave it to Trisha and gave her the money who then gave it to the male server. We will return but this time we will ask for Trisha. I forgot to ask for Trisha’s days off. But I will call tomorrow and find that out. They have different hours. No longer are they open for 24 hours. Trisha told me that they have not been open for 24 hours for five years, since COVID. They have not been able to find staff willing to work for 24 hours. That is definitely understandable, given the current times that we are living and working in. Maybe that will change one day. I hadn’t been here in years and I am so glad I came back. The food was excellent. They had lots of options, including fruit instead of potatoes with breakfast. The waitress, Trisha, was so friendly and the food came out in record time. I will definitely come back again!

Nice little neighborhood gem. Can’t beat what you get for the prices. They have specials everyday. You get soup, salad, two sides and a dessert with most of the entrees. You won’t walk out hungry and you will probably have a doggie bag in hand. I think most of all of there baked goods are homemade; if not, they sure are delicious. Bathrooms could use a cleaning, but give it a try. Large menu and breakfast, lunch and dinner all day if I’m not mistaken.

Good inexpensive comfort food ,that’ll make you come back every chance you get…breakfast item must have is their ham steak that is a generous size, ask for onions on their home fries. When you ask for coffee. They’ll give you a pot on your table…haha, saves them from walking back and forth for a refill I guess. Good selection of baked on premises pies. Service is attentive and friendly despite feeling rushed at times.

That larger glass of soda, 2.29. Tiny 8oz glass of milk? 2.50 how the heck? 10 mins wait to be seated. Ok fine possibly busy… Over 20 mins waiting at our table. Our waitress never came to our table. The host comes over and asked us what we wanted to eat. We asked for drinks first and 2 orders of mozzarella sticks to start. The host gave us our appetizers and took our menus. We sat for a total of 50 minutes here never got asked our dinner order. The host saw us getting up to leave, after serving food to a table that got seated after us. He rushed to ask our orders. When we asked for our bill because of the service and the fact he took our menus, he tried to argue that he tried to ask us 3 times…. Really? You asked us once before we even ordered drinks… Then dropped our appetizers to the table and said nothing…. I do not recommend this diner. Go down the road to Lancers.

Our family loves Red Lion Diner! Our food is always delicious and fresh. The only diner near Warminster that offers turkey bacon. The prices are low but the quality is not compromised ever! We purchased all of this food for under $20!
