My review history has me saying a different location has the best brisket in the Triangle. I must respectfully place Red Hot & Blue at the top of that list now. Perfectly seasoned crust, delicate perfectly rendered fat, and a flavor experience from start to finish. The hush puppies were crispy on the outside and moist and fluffy on the inside. This place has the BBQ game on lockdown so cancel all your other plans and get here.

This is so good. There is really is something for every BBQ lover here. I can think of at least five things I wanna go back and try. We ordered smokestack sandwiches. A combination of rib meat off the bone and brisket. The sides were exceptional. Fries were a bit salty/over seasoned for me – but potato salad was fresh & decadent. Partner loved the corn & hush puppies. Ever had barbecue so good that you lineup as soon as you’re finished to take more home? The staff are awesome. The Q is on point. The aromas! The vibe is blues and comfortable seating. Loved everything about this place and will go back often.

Just spent 10 days in the Carolinas, and this was by far our favorite meal. Last time I had this type of great BBQ was in Memphis. Everything myself, and my three kids had was delicious. I loved everything on my plate including the perfectly done and seasoned brisket and the traditional sausage. The potato salad and green beans tasted like they were just made by someone’s grandma (who I would like to adopt) in the back. I highly recommend a visit here. Oh, and we had hush puppies throughout our trip, but these were the best. Crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. The way hush puppies should taste.

This was our first time trying this restaurant and I’m glad we did. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich with hushpuppies and potato salad, my daughter had the brisket sandwich with fries. I liked the different sauces that were at our table ( 4 different sauces to choose from). Everything was fresh and tasty. The only thing I could say is I wish the meat was warmer and the potato salad colder but will definitely be back. Everyone was super friendly and pleasant.

My family and I visited the Morrisville, NC location on 6/2/23. The staff could not have been nicer. Dee, Daniel, Josh and Jeff went above and beyond to make our experience fantastic. They even gave us samples of the Banana pudding. The food was fantastic. It was so nice to have great customer service and they worked together as a team. You could tell they really enjoy their jobs, which is so refreshing these days. We will definitely be back.

Definitely a good edition to the Park West Village. Every thing on my plate was delicious. The burnt ends were sweet, tender, and had a nice amount of chew to them. My only regret is that I won’t be able to taste them for the first time again. Definitely recommend getting them smothered in the bourbon molasses.
