Great food! Brilliant booze and fabulous service! The portions are huge.. I’ve never known my other half to turn down dessert, but tonight he did. The guys who work there are exceptional And know their wines Always checking on your table, making sure everyone is happy and in no rush! We were the last customers in there and still they never hurried us, we were left to finish off the evening at our own pace, which we really appreciated, most restaurants we visit are practically throwing our coats at us to leave. Well worth the money and can not wait for our next visit. Well done RED, best meal we’ve had since coming to Guernsey 18 months ago and will be talking about this evening for a long time to come! Definitely deserve the five stars
Arrive around 19:30 had a very good table in the corner. Service is very slick and Menus and drinks order taken quickly. Good choice of starters and many steaks on the list. I chose not to have a starter as the portions for me are a descent size. I wanted to try the Lobster Mac & Cheese as a side. I had the burger nice size came in a bun with a very big onion ring, no chips. £10 for the burger and £7:50 ish for the side. Had the fondant for dessert very rice and runny chocolate inside. Very good around would like to go back as a couple not in a large group. Can get noisy as the room has a wooden floor and the noise can reverberated. Will be back soon if we can get a table so book early.
PS Macaroni and cheese in a posh restaurant, even with lobster – what’s that all about…
They certainly know how to do meat, the cuts of steak on offer on the specials board were ones I’d never even heard of but amazing
Great place, upstairs bar hit the spot for a pre diner drink, service top notch and will definitely be back
