Great drinks! Delicious food!

I was a tourist in NOLA strolling through the Garden District when I was drawn in by the beautiful tables set up outside this restaurant. What really caught my attention, though, was a menu item I had never tried before: green fried tomatoes. As a tourist, my curiosity got the best of me, so I decided to walk in.

I was warmly greeted by Jasmine, who kindly showed me the different seating options — a lovely back section, the front dining area, and the patio outside.

My server, Dominique, was absolutely wonderful. She was very friendly, easy to talk to, and made the whole lunch experience even better. We had a great conversation about local traditions, history and cuisine, and it was clear she was very knowledgeable and genuinely passionate. A fantastic conversationalist!

For drinks, I ordered their Bloody Caesar, cleverly named “Hair of the Red Dog” — such a cute and fitting name. And of course, I had to try the fried green tomatoes. They were absolutely delicious and lived up to the hype.

A big thank you to Jasmine and Dominique for such a great experience and amazing food. Wishing you all the best — I’ll definitely remember this meal fondly!

Fantastic Restaurant – The food is incredible! We loved the fried green tomatoes! We had a group of 6 adults and everything we had was amazing. It was crowded and we had to wait 40 minutes but it was definitely worth the wait. The only issue is that the seating was extremely uncomfortable – painful.

This is a great spot to get amazing food at an extremely reasonable price! This garden district gem is right off Magazine Street in the middle of the neighborhood hot spots.

The interior is cozy and modern. There is a countertop with the round stools. The lighting fixtures are modern but have that antique feel.

We had wonderful service from the moment we walked in through the time we were leaving.

The deviled eggs are delicious. You get them loaded with the filling. You also get their house-made bread and butter pickles.

If you are looking for a spot with wonderful food and service that is away from the hustle and bustle of downtown, head to Red Dog.

When the food hits so hard you forget to take a pic
We ordered the brisket omelette and it was next-level fantastic. Our bartender was awesome, the hurricane cocktail was delicious, and bonus points for clean bathrooms (always appreciated ). The menu has tons of variety at really fair prices. Safe to say—this place earned a repeat visit. We’ll definitely be back!

First time here and the experience was good but not great. But it was brunch which was busy. We ordered biscuits & gravy and griddled ham & cheese omelette. We got a ham and cheese sandwich by mistake so had to wait for the omelets which was a bummer. The biscuits & gravy was good but luke warm. Our server was great and the vibe is relaxed. I would try again at a less busy time.

I don’t normally order crab, but something about this pasta made it worth the risk and it did not disappoint. From start to finish, it was full of delicious flavor. If you’re on Magazine St, don’t forget to stop by.

This awesome little gem was recommended by the bartender at Joey K’s (another great spot!) for their frozen mimosa. The atmosphere was fantastic. Small and cozy. Gave the feel of a secret local hangout. We had a variety of drinks (all FANTASTIC) and our bartender was attentive and great.
