Everything was good. The food and the service. We did received a menu with incorrect pricing and got the bill and it was much higher than expected. We asked our server who informed us that we received an old menu. Our server did try to accomodate the mistake. Outside of that Everything was cool.

I went to Red Crab House in Snellville with my husband on Saturday, May 7th, and unfortunately the experience was very disappointing.
The seafood was not fresh at all. The shrimp were very small and had a mushy texture with almost no flavor. The clams were not good either, and the crawfish were clearly not fresh. They definitely tasted like frozen crawfish that had been reheated. Overall the seafood quality was really poor.
The rice was also very bland and didn’t have much taste at all.
On top of that, we ordered wings and they were completely left out of our order. When we called the restaurant, we were on the phone for about 15 minutes while they tried to figure out if we were telling the truth. Honestly, who lies about missing wings? It made the situation even more frustrating.
My husband and I eat out often, so we know what good seafood and good service should be like. This experience was a 1 out of 10 for us, and I would not recommend this place if you are looking for fresh seafood.

This happened about a month ago, management said they apologize, was gonna replace my shrimp fried rice w/ jumbo shrimp basket, wasn’t gonna come back, because having sonething alienated in my food, was very disturbing, but I gave them another try today 11/20/2025, and gave me my shrimp bssket w/ plain WHITE RICE!!! THIS USE TO BE MY FAVORITE SPOT TO GO! I’M SO DONE!!!

I have been going to this restaurant since they opened!! I know the owner and all the employees, past and current!! The owner runs a “Tight Ship”, which means every grown up working knows what the restaurant stands for and is accountable for providing it regardless of staffing!!
That’s what prepares our youth for the rigorous requirements of employment ALWAYS!!
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS RESTAURANT AND EVERY MEMBER OF THE STAFF!! Any employee that I wasn’t fond of eventually disappeared and was replaced by another exemplary employee!! So at this time, whenever I go there…I have the PLEASURE of seeing the same over-the-top staff, with great accolades and acknowledgment that repeated customers ABSOLUTELY LOVE!!
Super KUDOS to the owner and her attention to acquiring GREAT EMPLOYEES, cause THEY are the ones that keep customers RETURNING!!
FYI: if you smartly decide to try it out, PLEASE TRY THE FRIED FLOUNDER…WITH “BOOM-BOOM SAUCE”!! Omg!! Best thing EVER!!

I come here often but this is the first time myself or my husband was treated horribly. The worker did not place some of our food in the bag. (Poatoes and shrimp and chicken fried rice) We spoke to Effe she said we were stealing and trying to get free food. Posted some of the times we are here were we paid using debit but it’s a lot of times we pay in cash. My entire family comes here a lot. She said she was going to run the camera but then when we said please do all of a sudden it didn’t record that part.

This was my first time here. My husband and I came and… wow! The food was delicious, service was fantastic, atmosphere was just right with good music. We came on a Friday evening at 9 pm. We were seated right away, ordered our drinks and then food. The drinks were ON POINT. They did their job. The food was fantastic; shrimp lightly battered, hush puppies were delicious, food was full of flavor. We ordered a side of boiled eggs in the Red Crab House sauce (Cajun & garlic butter mix). DELICIOUS. 10 out of 10, recommend. The price point was perfect and the service was too. We will definitely be back.

On 9/27/25, our party of four decided to travel 50 miles to dine at the Red Crab House, Snellville. Long story short, the food, drinks and service were decent so we tipped our server 22% cash. Upon receiving the check, I noticed that there was an additional tip added for $18.63, which was ironically the same as the 18% tip. Since we already gave the server the cash tip, I crossed out the additional tip and wrote Cash and also wrote in the correct total without the tip and gave it to the server. Despite my efforts to correct the incorrect total, the server still charged my card the erroneous amount. The next business day, I called to speak with the manager and explained what happened (referring to my exact customer copy of the receipt). The manager began to state that the charge was a 18% gratuity that is charged for parties of 6 or more. I quickly corrected her stating that we had only 4 in our party and the charges were dishonest and unethical! She agreed and refunded the total tip of $40 tip. Yes, she did the right thing but it took alot of back and forth before she realized that I was willing to take it further! The damage is done and we will never return!
Moral to the story, be aware..check your bill/check and compare your reciept to your bank statement after your dinning experience, sometimes it may post days later, be diligent bc honest people are hard to find!

Fast, friendly service and great food, with a unique ambience and laid back vibe. Talk about ‘there’s your sign’ – I was thinking how good some crab would be and there was a huge billboard about this place that said to turn at the next right. So I did – and am so glad I did! The staff was very friendly and even took the time to go over the menu options with me because it was a new experience. You can put together your own combo and you get a pretty good deal. The food was served hot and all of the staff was friendly. The flavor was fantastic! Their decor is really cool too, there is art over the bar made from crushed cans that is very unique. Next time I’m in the area, I know where to get some good food and see friendly faces!
