I’m so happy this restaurant is in Columbus. I love Genghis Grill so Red Bowl was exciting. The food was great! It’s $17 for all you can eat on the raw and hot buffet.

Update: My third visit didn’t go so well. The server was not nice. The food was good but we hardly made it home before we all felt sick. Then I found out the food made my friends sick as well. We aren’t going back. I DO NOT RECOMMEND.

First off the food is phenomenal from both the grill and on the buffet. I did get my tea refilled once. My complaint comes from the to go box delima. I had went previously with my mother-in-law and was not charged for a to go box. I was excited to take my mother because her favorite place use to be Mongos (which by the way did not charge for to-go boxes) she is from Birmingham so having a good place to take her is fun for us. The lady sitting behind my mother was charged $3.00 for a to go box and we were charged $7.00 for 2 to go boxes. When we were getting ready to leave, the same server was charging the gentleman behind us $5.99 for 1 to go box. What frustrated me the most with his was that he had paid $16.95 (I believe is the cost for dinner) for a whole nother bowl from the grill. I feel that she was just taking advantage of people. We pay for our food and shouldn’t be charged at all for a to-go box but if at the very least do it honestly with a set price per to go box.

The food was really good! There was a ready station with wings, fries, green beans, etc. The fries were stale, but everything else was good. Nice variety of meats & veggies that you choose for them to cook on the grill. Would be great to have gloves at the station for patrons who would prefer after so many people are touching the tongs. It is pricey unless you can catch it at lunch. $17 for dinner. $9.95 for kids. Any food to go will be weighed at $5.99 a lb & that does not come out of your check. I think that’s insane to charge so much for food you couldn’t eat after you’ve already paid. Automatic 18% gratuity for parties of 6 or more is highway robbery. The staff was nice. If I go back, it would have to be during lunch.

Clean! Professional! Waitress was very nice, very clear about instructions. Make sure you put enough sauce. (You can do like two or three sauce cups.) Buffet portion was very nice addition and nice quality. Surprisingly large amount of seafood.

(I would not recommend for anyone with allergies. Doesn’t seem like there is any way to make sure everything is kept separated.)

We were excited to find a new Mongolian place on this side of town. Everything looked good and fresh. Amazing seafood selection for building your own bowl. The traditional Chinese buffet area was good too. We will be back.

All was amazing. Instructions unclear.
For newbies: whatever you can fit onto the little plate, they’ll put into your choice of noodles or rice hibachi style.
If you choose to pick at the buffet style food, you can (don’t recommend wasting your appetite in that because the hibachi is phenomenal)
It’s essentially all you can eat but if you decide to take anything home they’ll charge by the pound.
Enjoy!
We 100% will be back!

Went here for lunch. The hibachi-style food was delicious. Enjoyed snacking on “appetizers” while waiting on hibachi to be prepared.

First time here…3-4 stars….very busy but fast. You can have buffet options and make a fresh bowl. The buffet food wasn’t that hot but still good. A lot of classic options like lo mein, chicken and broccoli, sesame chicken, white rice, pepper beef and broccoli etc. Good meat and veggie options with several sauces for the bowl and also have pizza, salmon, salad and fruit options out for some other not traditional options. I would go back again…

We had a great time there. The hospitality was through the roof. Food was amazing and so many options to choose from. I’m trying to think of a new way on how I want my bowl to be during our next visit. My only complaint is the amount of hands that touch everything in the restaurant. Gloves would be nice. Since you can’t make them wash their hands, use the gloves so that way no germs can spread. But overall I definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a new restaurant to try out. We will be going there again soon.

Unlike anyplace that I’ve seen here in a while. Fresh food and plenty of varieties. And the price ($16.99) can’t be beat. The customer service, which is a make or break for me, was superb!! Run to this place because it’s definitely worth every penny spent.
