Something’s changed.
I don’t know. We’ve been here countless times and it’s been incredible. Since 2017. Hadn’t eaten here in about 4 months and it was honestly gross. Didn’t even smell good. I’m telling you, previously the chef would literally get on the phone and ask us if he had a question about the order it was that personal. The sweet and sour sauce, bang bang sauce used to be top notch. Lo mein was outstanding. This lo mein smelled like chemicals. Stinky water. My husband said gym socks. The chicken still tasted good but idk. Does anyone know if there are new owners? It wasn’t the typical girl that answers the phone and I saw they were closed on thanksgiving which they previously have been open for. Very disappointed.

I ordered on yesterday for delivery and this time my meal wasn’t up to the standard I’m used to from this restaurant. I ordered Veg spring roll, wonton soup, and shrimp fried rice. The shrimp fried rice was the problem. The shrimp was not prepared as it usually is, the fried rice seemed to be a mixture of white rice and fried. The fried rice usually has peas, carrots, egg and other veggies.There were very little veggies, and that’s what I especially like from this restaurant. (Other places I’ve ordered from don’t add the veggies). I hope they haven’t started to ‘skimp’ on ingredients. I’d appreciate it if you stick with the recipe you usually use. It tasted overall bland. This is a good place if you’d like a large quantity of food. The quality was OK, but it wasn’t overly flavorful or creative. I think it would be good for a family with kids who need lots of recognizable, not spicy food for a good price. I got vegetarian delight, which had fairly good tofu! Broccoli wasn’t very well cooked. Lots of snap peas, not much flavor. Appetizer was OK with a few different tastes.

Stopped by Red Bowl today with my family. Everything was delicious and the server was great. Even my ultra picky oldest daughter liked her Lo Mein noodles. Definitely recommend stopping by and giving them a try.

We have been to this restaurant before as well but the taste and flavor has changed. I used to love this place and now the taste is so different. We ordered Calamari and that was like fried batter only. As many said in review it’s has Thai food but not authentic flavor. Shrimp wrap was good but apart from that didn’t enjoy our food. Hopefully it gets better, I really used to enjoy their food.

I ordered sautéed vegetables I didn’t want rice but excepted the brown rice since there were no substitutions… The vegetables was beautiful in color but steamed and hard, not sautéed there was no flavor maybe a tablespoon of sauce…. I think they were trying to get rid of the overcooked rice I bet it was at least two cups packed in the little tray… I hate wasting money $9 for a meal I didn’t ask for or like

I got my food to go so I can’t say much about eating in, but the dinner room was clean and had a nice atmosphere.
The Lo Mein was very good, and the Crab Rangoons were too. I didn’t like the egg roll all that much though…
The lunch specials are a great deal but outside of that it’s a little on the pricy side for the non lunch items. 6 Rangoons were almost $8.

I’ve lived here in Tega Cay for 18 years. This is the ONLY Asian restaurant that has been here the entire time at the same location. In fact, it was the first restaurant we ate at when we moved here.
It’s still here and a staple of the community. After 18+ years, it must be good.
Over this time, the menu has changed, the atmosphere has changed and the staff has changed. What hasn’t is the cleanliness and quality of the food.
