I was pleasantly surprised with this place after my first visit. Not only was the service fast, but the food was amazing. I made my own poke bowl and got to pick each ingredient. Food tasted fresh and healthy. This will become a regular lunch stop for me.

If you wanted a true Japanese or Chinese restaurant cuisine, look elsewhere. If you want service to dine in, why serve in plastic? Cheap presentation. It’s fast food at best and very poor quality and value. Never coming back. The owners don’t even care about the reviews to even reply to any of them. Stay away!

The lunch meal (pictured) is about $13. The teriyaki sauce is separate so ask to add it on with some extra yum yum sauce. I usually get steak and chicken or just chicken. I will say the shrimp option is a very small portion, maybe 6 shrimp. However its always hot and tasty.

Great place to go for grab & go hibachi. We decided to dine in this visit and the food did not disappoint! The cashier was very nice and helped me choose a new boba tea and she made my day when she let me know they are BOGO!!

My husband and I were looking for somewhere different to go on date night. Saw good reviews here so gave it a try. So glad we did! Food was delicious
I had the butterfly bowl and will definitely be having it again in the near future. The restaurant itself was unimpressive and incredibly warm, thermostat said 88° at the time of day though the sun was shining right in the store front so that may have been the issue.

I have seen this place for as long as it has been in oakleaf and have always thought nah I’ll just get hibachi at a normal sit down restaurant. Today I felt like hibachi but didn’t have time to sit down at a restaurant so I thought I’d give this place a shot. Dang! I was pleasantly surprised how good my meal was. Fried rice and veggies were perfect. The chicken was shockingly tastier and more tender than any of the other restaurants I’ve ever been to in the Oakleaf/Middleburg/Orange Park area. I really like how the whole bottom is rice and the top is the protein and veggies rather than both being on separate sides on the plate. The yum yum sauce comes in squeeze pouch which is perfect for evenly drizzling it all over. Also, I ordered the small portion and it was a lot of food. Service was quick and easy. Definitely will be back more often and can’t wait to have my wife try it too!

This was the first my family have been here and we were pretty disappointed. I guess I’m used to the real ginger dressing at our favorite hibachi place because the dressing here was pretty bad also extremely hard to even get open!! My husband and kids ordered the steak and fried rice and the majority of the steak was so raw in the middle and SO chewy it wasn’t edible. Both of my kids left hungry. I got the chicken and it was ok enough to eat but several of the pieces could have been cooked longe AND I found a hair in my rice after I had already eaten a good bit of the rice so needless to say I was immediately grossed out! We definitely wouldn’t recommend!!

I got the large steak hibachi for takeout and it was hot and delicious. The portions were generous, enough to get at least two meals out of it. Best quick and ready Asian food in oak leaf.
