I have been to a lot of Thai restaurants. Red Basil is the best Thai food I have had. Other Thai places are very sweet. Even though all of their food is great, I highly recommend the green curry. Red Basil has rich flavor without being so sweet. The service is also great. Great atmosphere.

The customization of the food is great as the owner / server is considerate about the kids as much as adults. Amazing taste and good quantity at a reasonable price. We frequently come here. There are quite a few vegetarian options.

Guys the food here is so fresh it’s amazing. It’s not a big restaurant the menu is small but it has their main Thai dishes that we love so much. I must say I have been there several times and I couldn’t get in. But it was worth it

I love love love it here, super chill and it is so local, nothing too crazy, a nice spot if you are a patient and want to have a cozy Lunch or dinner the server usually does a lot and I know the people in the back are always so helpful, do not recommend rude and impatient people coming here, this is not your place or I mean anywhere lol.

all of this for $16 they don’t even ask for a tip and they’re so nice they don’t let me give them a tip. I wish I could, though The food is absolutely gas better than Greektown Gyro

Yummy Thai food. Red Basil has an awesome lunch special! One entree with your choice of meat plus a free appetizer for $9.99. Our entrees were tofu drunken noodle and chicken teriyaki. Our apps were veggie dumplings and chicken satay. We added the Thai salad with peanut sauce as an additional app because why wouldn’t you? Great ambiance and friendly waitress.

We ordered pad thai, spicy basil fried rice and thai chicken wings. None of them tasted good! Chicken wings were sooo salty. The fried rice wasn’t really spicy or had any flavor! We got the crispy pork as an add-on and paid $6 extra for it!! But the pork was overcooked and we couldn’t even eat it. I love pad thai in general but this one was very bland, had no salt and no spices. Not sure about their dine-in food. But the food delivered was extremely dull and disappointing 🙁
