The Red Arrow Diner first opened its doors on Lowell Street in Manchester, NH back in October 1922. The local diner is the focal point of any community and the Red Arrow is certainly no exception. I swear the food never gets better here, the last time I was here I was served dry toast with a very minimal butter, today I get a bunch of butter, but didn’t know how to cook the hash, Hash is cooked 11 – 12 minutes per side, it’s kind of hard and crunchy not soft like this. I guess some cooks have no idea to cook food, I stuck my finger through it.

It was a classic diner with decent portions. Very 6/10 exsperiance which is what I wanted. Prices were a bit high, spent $50 on two meals… but thats kinda the economy right now. Great hours at 24/7

Always excellent food properly by folks who love their work. Very extensive huge menu offering breakfast, lunch and dinner options all day long. Wonderful desert options, especially pies of all kinds. Clean and well maintained facility is a completely remodeled Friendly’s property. Big portions of everything prepared carefully and served thoughtfully. Have dined there 5 times and will return. Never a less than stellar experience so far.

I ordered a kielbasa hash brown special with scrambled eggs and wheat toast. Got a onion hashbrown special with no toast. There was so many onions I picked most of them out hoping to be able to taste the hashbrowns but you couldn’t taste potato at all. The onion pile is half of what was there for the hashbrown pile! Bad breakfast! If it wasn’t take out I’d return it so they could remake it. $18 for kielbasa, eggs and an onion!

Food was not great for the price. The Poutine was cold, the gravy was canned and the cheese was not cheese curds. The pastrami sandwich was just terrible. Dry and too salty!!

This restaurant makes me feel like I have covid! I could not taste the mac and cheese- at all. It seems like they just thickened some milk onto dry noodles. We didn’t even taste cheese. The biscuits had a weird texture, and the gravy and eggs were so bland. I felt like I was eating printed food. We just threw it away.
The same goes for the chicken tenders. It tasted like they sprinkled a pinch of sugar over the chicken and fried it. No salt, no flavor, nothing. Like edible, slightly sweet, fried tofu. The fries were the same. No flavor, minimal salt. “garlic bread” is just white bread with some sort of a butter substitute? It definitely wasn’t butter.
I will say, though, that their highlighted dish seems to be their French toast sticks. Finally some flavor! They have powdered sugar, and a cute little syrup bottle that it came with. The chop suey kind of tastes like cafeteria spaghetti. Not incredible, but not terrible. They give a really nice portion of it.
Final notes; the side of soup tasted like greasy celery water with a slight aftertaste of salt. I was expecting this place to be of fast-food quality, but I am very disappointed. A nursing home would probably serve food with more flavor. Moral of the story- unless you want French toast sticks, I would advise going to Chipotle, Jersey Mikes, Wendys, or even Taco Bell if you want a quick place to eat. A waste of money.

I have visited the Red Arrow in Manchester several times and was interested to see if the one in Nashua was as good. It is. I had the meatloaf with mashed potatoes and corn. Delicious. Loved the gravy. Service was friendly and fast. I will definitely be back.

Food was great and quality was purrr!! The lady up front sorry im not good with names forgive me was quick to greet and seat us.. there was other people not so packed! Ohh them desserts looks to die for yall!! Next time for sure ordering to good was so packed with everything i ate the diet was worth breaking!! First time someone knows how to cook a well done burger with out leaving burnt and dry and steak! Like props to that chef for cheffing it up , you put you skills in there Sir/Mam!? thank you guys for a Great experience have never heard of yall untill my mom moved near by! Upfront i was attended by a older very nice lady & a younger one both were very sweet and professional will recommend and be coming back hopefully can get the names right!! Molly is a doll, we love her! It was our first time there and she was amazing! I was with my mother and daughter and we couldn’t even decide what we wanted. I’m gonna put pictures and then you decide but I guarantee you that you’d love it. there is so much to choose from and lots for everyone!
