Always a fun time at this place! We originally started coming here for the karaoke, which is an absolute blast—especially with our KJ, Stump Master Flex!
The food is fantastic. My favorites are the Guinness sliders and the cauliflower crust pizza—always on point. We recently decided to check out Sunday bingo and, once again, zero disappointment. So much fun!
The owners are always present, incredibly nice, and truly hospitable, which makes the experience even better. And bonus points for the location—it’s right across from the Mineola LIRR station, perfect for anyone coming after work or choosing to be safe.

Freddie was hands down one of the best bartenders I’ve ever had. From the moment we walked up, he was welcoming, attentive, and genuinely cared about making sure we had an amazing experience. He didn’t just pour drinks he crafted them. Every cocktail was perfectly balanced, flavorful, and made with intention.
What really stood out was how much he went out of his way for us. He took the time to ask what we liked, made thoughtful recommendations, customized drinks to our taste, and made sure everything was exactly how we wanted it. You can tell he takes real pride in his work. Even while staying busy, he never rushed us and kept such positive energy the entire time.
Freddie’s professionalism, creativity, and warm personality made the night so much better. He truly elevated the entire experience and made us feel taken care of. Honestly, the only reason we’ll come back is for him. If you’re lucky enough to have Freddie behind the bar, you’re in great hands. Absolute top tier service and incredible drinks. Highly recommend.

Reco room is one of a kind. Cozy quaint neighborhood bar. All the bartenders make you feel like family. Food is always on point, lots of different events weekly, kareoke, bingo. Best way to describe reco is its more like a cheers where everyone knows each other! And the owners regis and kristi go above and beyond for their customers. If your in the are stop in you wont be sorry.

Last night we celebrated my 50th birthday at the Recovery Room. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this place. The owners are amazing and they made sure the party ran perfectly. They decorated for me, provided all the food and snacks, and the DJ was amazing. The manager, Andrea, was so sweet and helped me plan everything in advance. Andrea and Freddy, the bartenders, made sure everyone was enjoying the open bar. The DJ was great and let me choose the type of music that makes me happy. My friends all loved him. Every staff member was attentive and made sure my guests and I were having a great time. They provided a 3 hour private party for me. The food was also delicious. I highly recommend the Recovery Room.

We stumbled Upon this bar on a Friday night after our friends welcome party, my friends and I were attending and they happened to have karaoke that night. My friend took the stage and we sang karaoke to an old NSYNC song. The next day was the wedding and when looking for something to do afterwards, we recommended this bar and had all of our friends show up on Saturday night. Sorry to Freddie for not giving you a heads up, but thank you for accommodating our large group of friends. We had a great time. Your hospitality did not go unnoticed and thank you for the amazing drinks. We look forward to seeing you all on our next New York stop!

Located right by the railroad, so great place to hang out after work or while waiting on your train… seems to have a lot of regulars (many ppl acknowledging each other; hugs and kisses; familiarity with staff)
