I can’t believe the food that they brought to me. I’m have eaten there for years and never had any thing so bad. We had the beef and chicken enchiladas and it tasted like Velveeta cheese and onion. Didn’t even taste like Mexican food. I also bought a menudo which had a good taste but seems old. I don’t like giving bad reviews but really. Now the service was good. The enchiladas plate was actually not bad but this is not Mexican food. The Tripas plate didn’t have much flavor and didn’t like it at all. Both plates are very big so if you’re not really hungry you won’t finish the food. I wouldn’t entirely recommend this place but the town doesn’t have much good food around.

Best fajitas in South Texas ,loved the ambiance and dining room layout, this restaurant is EVERYTHING good about fresh, tasty, Mexican food..the staff is very nice and great service..the owners are great people and love interacting with customers..Lina and Chente, their son Brandon were very warm and attentive to us and I recommend this place for private parties and indoor dining as well..try the beef enchiladas

Classic flavors of Tex Mex. Ask anyone who would travel north on US 281 aka “69C” about stopping at this place. Enjoyable experience. Try the enchiladas or Mexican steak. Plenty of ice tea and YES freshly made tortillas. Game over.

YUCK My husband went in today, 9/27/2024, and ordered Tripas, he found rocks in it. Check the photo. On top of that, they tried to charge him for it too. Super disgusting place, they don’t even clean their equipment properly. Food safety is lacking and needs to be reported to the health authority. Hard pass on giving them a second chance, too risky for your health.

We went in for a table of 5. Placed orders. Mine was a fideo with beans and it was very bland and tasteless. It was just messy looking as well. Another person ordered the carbon tacos and the meat tasted like soap. The two meals were left. The waitress saw and just left the ticket and walked away. When we went to pay I told the owner and she said that we should of told the waitress and proceeded to charge for both plates. Never again!!! That was almost 25 dollars that was thrown away with no care from the staff!! Then they wonder why their establishment is losing clients. Not only the place went downhill so did the food and service
