So happy we chose this restaurant for breakfast, they certainly bring their A game. The toast was warm and buttered perfect as to melt in your mouth, the sunny up eggs perfect to top the toast with, bacon was top tier…crisp and flavorful, home fries seamed house made, showed up perfectly seasoned and just enough crispness. I’ve spent 20 some years with a major food service supplier and can say everything was as good as it could possibly be. The service also was spot on, very efficient and customer forward. Worst service I have ever experienced. I served for four years and we all make mistakes. But the service was awful and instead of trying to make it right the server ignored our table. We arrived before noon and quickly ordered. The biggest issue was numerous tables that arrived after we ordered got their food before us. It took over 50 minutes for diner food. When asked just for a shrug that’s how kitchen works. Eventually our kids start to fall apart with hunger so we go to counter and ask for some packets of the crackers we saw handed out with soups. Then when the food finally came they never came to check on us and after waiting we sought them out to tell them they didn’t deliver all off the meals we ordered. Plus two of the meals we did get didn’t come out right. Then the server continued to ignore us as we needed refills, sauces, extra napkins. Other interactions fell below standard service. I’ve served, had other servers forget to fire an order, but then you own it and try to accommodate the customers, not ignore them, especially when they have kids.

The restaurant atmosphere was the only thing going for it. In a small town, seeing this many people is a change. However it gets worse from there. There was a strong smell of sewers coming in every few minutes. The Utensils were not clean enough for me to be comfortable eating with them, and the plastic ones I ordered were unpacked and dirty as well. The pancake I ordered was thin and fragile. My friend ordered a breakfast sandwich without bacon and got 2 tons of it, another friend had an egg shell in his omelet. The general cleanliness of the place was below average.
