This places uses frozen cakes made 3-4 days before the pick up date. It’s not freshly baked cakes. They either order these from Sam’s Club in bulk cause. My son’s cake was disgusting hard dry and the buttercream i didn’t asked for was full of sugar. Yes thy do put a nice design that’s all. But the cake was lopsided on one side. I asked for whipped cream and Bavarian cream didn’t get it. Cake wasn’t ready. Cake decorated had left supposedly. It was embarrassing when none of my guest liked it thy tasted the frosting. But nobody ate it my son vomit from how sweet the frosting was. I don’t recommend this place as they are not fresh made. These are pre frozen cakes bought in bulk. Thy couldn’t even do half chocolate and vanilla now I see why. But if you guys are into super super sweet cakes and not fresh and are so heavy from how tough the cake is go for it. But it’s a waste of money you might as well go to Walmart and get one. Thy ruined my sons Birthday as a chef I know fresh cakes. But I was very busy i didn’t get to make my son his cake this year. But to everyone who said it’s good you must never had a good fresh soft moist cake this was just nasty. I’m being straight up about this.Dont recommend

Heard about this place from a friend. I know it’s been open for a while. It was cute inside. The lady at the counter was very nice! The cookies and pastries were sooo good. I’ll definitely be back. Next time I’ll get a coffee too!

This was my first time going in and I was pleasantly surprised. I was greeted as I walked into a clean and neat atmosphere with clear instructions on how to grab my own goodies. I grabbed a blueberry tart and a banana nut bread piece and wowzers!
That tart was the most buttery, well laminated pastry I’ve had in a very long time. It was generously filled with fresh blueberry filling and topped with a not-to-sweet icing. I found myself doing my happy food dance while enjoying it.
The banana nut bread was perfect. The nuts melted as I ate through my piece and was perfectly moist and well spiced. For that quality alone, the prices are right where they should be and I’m happy to pay.
Upon check out I’m not sure if the workers were just tired, but didn’t seem all that interested in their new customers. That’s okay though not a deal breaker. The pasteries were amazing. I’ll be back.

The coffee I had from here was soooo delicious! I’m not a big fan of their pastries, but their drinks always hit the spot for me. Their lemonades and refreshers are great, and I always love the service here! Everyone’s very friendly and welcoming, I hope to visit again soon.

Best bakery in town! Nancy and Gabriel are amazing as well as the rest of the staff, they are always so friendly and make you feel welcomed and at home. All of their pastries are to die for. They are always my go to for birthday parties and my morning coffees. If you’re thinking about trying their shop you should definitely stop by you wont be disappointed!

This is SUCH a cute little bakery! It will be a go-to stop every time we’re in the RGV! Cinnamon rolls are my thing and this was…hands down…THE B.E.S.T. cinnamon roll I have EVER had! Get more than 1 (per person), because 1 is NOT enough and you will NOT want to share.

The minute I walked into Reach for the Sky I automatically felt the homey feeling. It smelt soooo good. Owners Nancy and Gabriel were so polite and helpful with recommending pastries. I was able to taste a little variety of pastries but if I had to choose a favorite, it would be the brownies As far as Meals, I had the chicken salad. This was also 10/10. I can’t wait to try more hehe!!!!! Go check this place out! Hands down the best I’ve tasted locally
