This was a great find! Everything well had was fresh and packed with flavor. The pork was tender and moist with smoky notes. All of our sides were homemade and original. The best bite was the smoked wings that were flash fried and covered in Bama Boi sauce, a mix of their red and white sauces. The lady that helped us was so much fun! She came out from behind the counter to help us with the menu. This place has character and deserves attention.

We have been wanting to try it for a while so we ordered several things to try… we had to pay extra for sauces… and then did not get them. Take out order, make sure to check for it. The ribs were awesome, and I’m guessing if the bbq sauce was included it’d be good. The chicken quarter was super hard and dried out. The white sauce was like water. Mac and cheese phenomenal, it’s like a macaroni pie. Green beans are sweet, different way to have them and we enjoyed it. Chicken wings were very scrawny with little meat plus the water white sauce. Overall we really liked it but definitely a sauce issue.

Baked beans were literal mush. Ribs were dry and salty. I ordered delivery, 15 mins away, and my food seemed as if it were sitting out for an hour and then heated back up because everything was still hot. So my food was just warmed up. Its disappointing because ive ordered here multiple times and my food has never been this bad.

Food was good and very reasonably priced for the large portions. My husband and I both ordered the smoked wings plate- he ordered lemon pepper and I tried the honey bbq. We also ordered kids meals and tried their peach cobbler. My only complaint is that the peach cobbler didn’t have very many peaches but mostly cobbler. Overall, we enjoyed our food. We called in our order and it was ready within 15 mins. We do plan on going back and trying something else on the menu.

Hole in the wall BBQ pit off Nick Davis and Old Railroad, serving up some of the best dang ribs in the Huntsville area.
We’ve been working our way through local BBQ joints since moving here, 3 years ago, and can confidently say RDs got the best ribs and sauces in the Huntsville metro area.
Everything here is good and service is top notch. We liked it so much we came back the next week and bought a bottle of their BamaBoy sauce.

This is your classic hole in the wall BBQ place. There is nothing fancy about it and there doesn’t need to be! If you are in the harvest area, give it a try! It will not disappoint you! Priced well with no frills. The cashier was super friendly and welcoming. All in all, a good experience!
I got a BBQ sandwich plate with fries and Mac and cheese. Very good! Sometimes a classic BBQ sandwich just hits good! The fries were fresh and perfect! The Mac and cheese was ok but it’s just not my style of Mac and cheese. Nothing against it! My partner got the leg quarter plate with baked beans and potato salad. She said those were some of the best baked beans she’s had. The chicken was fall off the bone and flavorful. The tea and lemonade were perfect.
I can’t wait to come back and try more of the menu!

I’m new to the area, this place was highly recommended. So I decided to give it a try after reading several reviews.
I’m glad I did! It’s a quaint small spot, upon entering, the cashier was very warm & welcoming. She answered all my questions about the menu. I didn’t feel rushes at all.
The ribs, wings and loaded fries were fresh & delicious. I have enough leftovers to eat tomorrow as well. The place was clean & the smell of food was very inviting! If you like food freshly prepared, filling & worth your money I suggest giving this place a try at least once!

The presentation was a plus but I ordered 2 chicken potatoes and half pint of chicken and the potatoes don’t have no season the meat just taste like it’s been smoked that’s it! The meat never did melt the cheese because it wasn’t hot it was semi warm and cold this was at the Madison location never again will I return wasted $30 this potato had to have white sauce poured over it in order to give it a taste! Waste of money
