At about 6:50 pm, a table of 12 was called from the waiting area. Another thirty minutes and a dozen employees passed by and finally an employee stopped to ask the party in front of us how many people they were. 7:30 pm rolls around and the party of four ahead of us gets seated.
A couple came in behind us and seemed to know the employees – he and his gf were greeted by various employees and were told they could be seated in about 5 mins. At that point, a worker finally stopped to talk to me and ask how many in my party. We were told about a 15-20 min wait.
7:40 pm and the part of two BEHIND us gets seated (at a table which could accommodate 4).
Finally, at 8 pm we got seated, nearly an hour and a half after entering the establishment.
9 pm hit and we finally got our entrees.
One sea bass entree, and two NYE surf & turf specials (12 oz ribeye and 6 oz lobster tail.
The sea bass was decent and the mango salsa was the star of the dish.
The mac & cheese side and the lobster tails were probably the best parts of the meal.
One ribeye was rare and the other was medium….both were requested to be medium rare. The steaks had decent grill marks but were grey otherwise.
I would say the food is decent and steaks are maybe a step above a Sizzler.
The ONLY reason this restaurant is getting 1 star is because the food was decent. If not for that, I would’ve given 0 stars.
We definitely won’t be visiting here ever again.
10/4/25 We sat down and our waitress brought us water, which she spilled across the table, soaking us both. We moved tables, dried off, and tried to have a nice dinner. The waitress didn’t get any better.
I asked about the soup of the day and was told it was vegetable soup. While I ate my salad I heard another waitress tell her table the soup was vegetable beef or French onion. I love French onion soup, and would have ordered that.
Food was good, not great, but was good. Our cocktails were quite good.
The creme brulee dessert was not good. It was dry, I assume overcooked, and was an inconsistent texture. Our waitress brought it to the table with forks and not spoons. I called to her asking for spoons, but had to wait and get another waitress’ attention.
We continually gave the restaurant and our waitress the benefit of the doubt, and extra chances. The final straw was our bill was over $120 and didn’t have a single discount for having water poured on us. I didn’t expect much, but a free dessert or some other small token would have done a lot to make up for us having wet slacks and a wet dress.
Ok now the bad: our food took 50(!) minutes to arrive. It was a ridiculous amount of time imo. Now, to be fair they seemed to be very busy… but 50mins is 50mins. I would’ve been fine with that if then once we were done eating they didn’t take 30mins to get us our check! Our waitress had disappeared and when I tried to get another waitress’ attention (the only one with blond hair) she said “I’ll get to you.” Then walked away. She then proceeded to walk past our table multiple times completely ignoring us. I just wanted my check lady. Our original waitress arrived with our check as previously stated 30mins after we were done eating and had asked blonde waitress for attention.
Idk man. Maybe it was just a bad day but still…
