The atmosphere was warm and comfortable, making it a great spot whether you’re dining in or grabbing food to go. You can really tell they take pride in both the quality of their food and how they treat their customers.
Highly recommend — easily one of the best spots around. I’ll definitely be back!
The brunch cocktails are equally impressive—both visually stunning and absolutely delicious, making them the perfect complement to the meal. The atmosphere is enhanced by a DJ in the bar area, adding an energetic yet enjoyable vibe. Meanwhile, the music in the dining area is perfectly balanced, allowing us to enjoy our food without missing out on great conversation.
We had an amazing experience and can’t wait to go back!
I liked the decor but would have liked a blind open to let more light in for lunch and music that is less clubby for daytime hours. We’ll be definitely returning!
It seemed that we had just missed the lively happy hour crowd. I had heard that Raza features live music until 6 PM, so by the time we arrived the energy had calmed, creating a quieter and more relaxed setting. This worked well for us, as it allowed for easy conversation and a more intimate dining experience.
The drinks were excellent, crafted with care and balanced flavors. The food was slightly above average, with some standout dishes. My salmon was cooked to absolute perfection, moist and flavorful. The mashed potatoes were a bit too thick in texture, though they were seasoned beautifully. The brussels sprouts were a highlight, roasted to a crisp and bursting with flavor. My husband ordered the steak, which was tender and well prepared, though he wished it had been seasoned a touch more to elevate the taste.
Overall, Raza delivered a memorable evening with attentive service, a refined atmosphere, and dishes that showed thoughtful preparation. While there were minor details that could be improved, the combination of ambiance, drinks, and well-executed entrees makes it a restaurant worth visiting again.
The restaurant has a cozy yet refined atmosphere — warm lighting, crystal chandeliers, and beautiful autumn-inspired decor that made the evening feel extra special. The attention to detail in the interior design really stands out — perfect for a relaxed dinner or a date night.
As for the food, it was outstanding. The duck was tender and flavorful, the steak perfectly cooked and seasoned, and the octopus was one of the best I’ve had — delicate, smoky, and full of texture. We also enjoyed beautifully plated starters like beef carpaccio and a fresh strawberry-almond salad that paired wonderfully with a glass of rosé.
Service was friendly and attentive without being intrusive, and every course arrived promptly and beautifully presented.
Overall, Raza’s delivers an excellent fine-dining experience with both substance and style. Highly recommend for anyone in Hamilton looking for an elevated evening out.
For drinks I got the black walnut Manhattan and the the traveler. Thought both drinks were refreshing and boozy. Really loved the flavors of both.
For apps we got the fried calamari. Perfectly fried and seasoned. It had a nice crispy texture and the calamari was fresh. I liked that the marinara wasn’t too sweet.
For entrees I got the shrimp scampi. Shrimp comes with the tails on which kinda hinders the eating experience but they were delicious and fresh. Jumbo size too. The pasta had great texture and flavors, I really enjoyed the white wine sauce.
For dessert I opted for the pistachio ice cream which was delicious. Would love to return and try their other dishes.
Jasmin served my mother and I and was just as great as the first time. Will continue coming back for sure!
We had the brussel sprouts which were so amazing we finished all of them. I ordered the Rhort Rib which was very filling and tender. My mom ordered the cavetelli ragu which was just amazing as the first order of it that I tried with my wife on our first visit here!

We had reservations for 415. We got there and we told the host we would sit at the bar.
Jasmin was our server and she was nothing short of amazing. She had a great friendly personality and didn’t seem to mind special requests like asking for a whole lemon. We use a lot of lemon in our water. She was very prompt and made some great suggestions on what to order.
We ordered the spinach cigars which were good but I would not get them again because I feel as tho the fried roll takes from the delicious taste of the spinach.
We also ordered the calamari which was delicious and came with whole squids and rings. The cocktail sauce was also on point.
For our main dishes we got the seared yuzu branzino which was a bit over seared and not for me but my wife liked it enough to take the leftovers home. We also got the cavetelli ragu which I loved. It was so creamy and tender with the right amount of short rib.
All in all this place was a great experience and I would definitely go back!
