17″ Cheese – the stretch and saltiness you would expect from a great cheese pizza.
17″ Meat Lovers – Absolutely loaded, nothing overcooked, didn’t last long.
17″ White Pizza – My favorite, mixture of cheeses and garlic. The ricotta closed the deal!
16″x16″ Sicilian with Pepperoni, perfect crispy edges, not hard but crisp, thick and not oily!
Wings – on point as always, extra crispy!
Garlic Knots – Soft and still steamy inside; they are very sinful!

The pizza is actually really good- it’s thin crust with large slices, perfect to get a slice (or two) when out looking for lunch.
The staff are friendly and helpful.
Lunch Special appears to be Tues-Fri for 2 large slices of pizza and a drink for $10.
BBQ Chicken pizza uses a mild spice sauce- reminds me of mild buffalo wings.
The only constructive critique I have to offer is the dining area needs a bit of a makeover- but in this economy- I’m not complaining! Also I’m a guy and know nothing of decorating.
Will definitely come back for more!

So we have lived here for almost 5 years and ill say we were pleasantly surprised by trying Ray’s Pizza for the first time.
Past reviewer complained about the front door being stuck. The door today was fine zero issues using the door.
We got the white pizza. Dry but at least it wasn’t greasy. I say dry cause usually I like some extra sauce but it was good.
The guy on the phone suggested making it crispy which was good.
Staff was nice and gave us extra parm and red pepper.
We judge places if we would go back and we will go back.

Very solid pizza for Surprise. A pizza joint is best judged by its simplest offerings. We got a Margherita. Thin crust with limited flop, not greasy at all, good sauce ratio, quality ingredients. We will be back!

I ordered the Monster Pie, which is supposed to be their version of a supreme pizza, but I was really disappointed. The crust was thin, and they piled on way too much cheese and toppings, which made the whole pizza soggy and unenjoyable. On top of that, it lacked flavor not sure if it was the sauce, the crust, or both, but it definitely missed the mark.
The fountain sodas also tasted watered down. They even had canned and bottled options available, which honestly makes me think they already know the fountain drinks aren’t great.
The only thing I actually enjoyed were the traditional wings those were cooked well and had good flavor. If you decide to eat here, that’s probably the only thing I’d recommend.

White slices and wings are fine. But as a New Yorker it’s enough with the trying to pass things off as NY pizza. Cheese is good tho. Stay away from the salads!! I order a 13.00 large chxn Ceasars salad and the chicken was gummy the lettuce was wilted and the croutons were soggy. It was inedible!!!

We are new to the area so are on the hunt for a favorite pizza place. Ray’s Pizza did not disappoint. We ordered two medium (15 inch) pizzas for our group. They were ready in a relatively short period of time and were piping hot and tasty. We ate at the restaurant, where they also serve both soda and beer. We were all happy with our meals, and will not hesitate to make another trip to Rays. One small observation though … next time, we will request that they use a little more sauce on our selection.

I am asking myself why I’ve never visited this location before. I’ve been to Rays in Glendale many times, but never remember this location is here. Located in a shared shopping center with Albertsons there is plenty of parking. The location is small, but offers a good amount of booths and tables. You order at the counter then they bring out your food. We ordered a large pepperoni and hot wings along with a few drinks. Service was great and our food came out pretty fast. Everything looked delicious. The wings were steaming and sauced well. The wings are fried which we love and gives them a crispy bite. Pizza is cheesy, greasy (not overly) and plenty of toppings. Perfect. Crust was good and didn’t flop down when picked up. Would be perfect reheated in the oven for added crisp. We left full and happy. The location was clean, no frills pizza spot. They do have one tv I believe, but we were too busy eating to watch it. Great stop today.

This isn’t your pizza hut pizza! It is authentic Italian style hand tossed, the toppings are always plentiful. You are always greeted when entering the restaurant. We have their Monster pizza but we added olives, mushroom & green peppers on their original crust. I love their sauce & their toppings are wonderful. It’s a medium size place with tables & booths it’s always clean & they are very polite & courteous. When we are in Surprise & in the mood for a great pizza this is our families choice. They have many other menu items wings, salads, sandwiches, pasta dishes and desserts, plus free drink refills. So if your in the mood for pizza give them a try you won’t be disappointed.
