First visit to Rays, however it won’t be the last. We had a catfish filet dinner it came with two sides and a drink, which he chose fried okra and coleslaw. I had the rib dinner also came with 2 dies and drink. I chose baked beans and fries. All I can say is everything was wonderful. I can’t remember the last time I ate out and didn’t have a complaint about something. It was a delicious and filling meal. The people working and possibly the owner were very accommodating and pleasant. Please do go and give Ray’s a try. You will be happy you did.

Absolutely gassss!!! Some of the best fried catfish I have ever had to this day! We got the Tuesday catfish special with fries and Mac n cheese and it was amazing. I highly recommend checking this place out! It was so good and the prices can not be beaten! You can order your food and sit under the shade in a nice picnic table and enjoy your meal! Definitely come visit and eat some good food! Need to come back and try everything else Ray has to offer!

Ray’s was amazing!!! We showed up 10 minutes before close and they did not even hesitate to make food for us. The Catfish, Okra, Coleslaw, Baked Beans, Chicken Strips, Banana Pudding WAS AMAZING !!! If you haven’t tried their food, it is worth the trip. Follow on Facebook Ray’s Mobile as well.

Update: Ray’s GREAT! The food is always wonderful (I’ve eaten there 6 times now) Ray is very personable and fun and really down to earth.
The place is in a food trailer on the east side of the the worst truck stop in Wichita Ks (the Philips 66 (former Kangaroo T.S)) however I go out of my way to come here just because of Ray’s so the TS should be super great full that he is here because I know a lot of us only end up here and and risk driving into a pothole deep enough to swallow the Burj khalifa and spend $ at the TS because Ray’s is here.

Gave this place a try for the first time, ordered delivery through Doordash. I am extremely impressed! The fillets are massive – I was expecting smaller pieces and ordered a second, but definitely will have it for leftovers. The breading is crispy and flavorful, the fries are a delight. The way the food was packaged in a way to protect it on the way, with holes punched in the styrofoam to keep the steam from making everything soggy, and with foil in the bottom to protect the food. Massive portion sizes, too.
I highly recommend this place. 10 out of 10, will be ordering again!

Ray’s has a great homely atmosphere in a smaller establishment. Friendly and courteous the staff was. The catfish sandwich was really good. The only drawback is that they do not garnish for the sandwiches. To which I understand why they dont. This would no problem if I were taking it home. The okra and smoked hotdog was great as well. I would return again.

Best food Iv had in a long time! Every single thing I ordered was so good! I ordered the sampler that had a catfish fillet, one rib a chicken wing or tender and 2 sides and a drink. I ordered greens and fries. I usually don’t like ribs but these were so tender even the BBQ sauce was on point! I will definitely be visiting again! Service was great and got a lot of food for the price!

The people are very friendly. Their hospitality is impeccable. The food was seasoned to taste. It was not over seasoned, under seasoned, it was blissful. Wichita is a hard place to find great tasting food, and I would rate this a top. The potatoe salad had Texas slang to it, that only my mother and grandmother knew how to make. The baked beans were sweet and smoky with beef bites. The shrimp was colossal and well worth the money. The food was so good, my family and I doubled down two nights in a row. Highly recommended, especially for the price. I forgot to mention the delicious banana pudding. A must try!!!!!

I ordered the catfish with okra, potato salad, fries, Mac and cheese, and banana pudding. I also got the link basket with baked beans. The tarter sauce was amazing! Owner was so friendly, and my food was hot and fresh. I will be back and do recommend!
