My partner and I have been long-time vegans and Ray’s was one of our favorites for their decent vegan menu that was really tasty. We’ve ordered their vegan Philly cheesesteaks multiple times and in the past, Ray’s used vegan meat crumbles and them being $20 each was justifiable. We ordered the same sandwich today and expected it to be the same, but the vegan meat was swapped for refried beans and still costed us $42 total. I don’t think swapping vegan meat for refried beans and still charging the same price is fair or right. There should have at least been something said that the recipe changed or that they may have been out of the usual ingredients. The sandwich was still good, and we still ate them as to not be wasteful, but I’m disappointed because we loved being able to go to shows and still get some tasty bar food and good drinks. Will definitely be taking Ray’s off our take-out list.

the food has changed it’s no longer Chinese food but! THE NEW MENU IS AMAZING!!!! they got all kinds of different stuff to choose from (including Vegan and Gluten Free options)

(the fries were delicious! some really good fries!! oh the fry sauce and the garlic aioli sauce is perfect btw!)
and then the Fried Twinkies…

We had a great time here. The food was pretty good and the service was exceptional. Our server, Ashley, was friendly, thoughtful, and quick in her service. I’m looking forward to going back. The Roujiamo burger was very tasty (can’t go wrong with a lime sriracha crema!); and the aioli that was served with the tots was *chef’s kiss*. Our burgers were a bit on the rare side, which I enjoyed, but my friend needed it a bit more well done. They accommadated quickly and kindly so don’t be afraid to ask for what you want. I find good service to be rare around here so tip generously and show your appreciation! Also come out and support this TC legend not only for shows but meals and drinks too.

I’ve been twice since they’ve reopened. The fried Twinkies are AMAZING! Loved the nachos and the missionary burger the atmosphere is great and makes me feel at home. Love everything that’s been done to resurrect my favorite local music venue.

This place is geat! I was very excited to see my friend play with his band and the food was amazing! The server/bartender was very attentive and quick and the music scene was NOICE.

Rays is an excellent venue. Great bartenders, great food. 3 stars because the sound guy is atrocious. Messes with the players effects settings which any sound guy with 3 braincells knows is NOT acceptable. Genuinely terrible sound guy for such a great venue.
