This place is amazing. Head to Head it’s the best burgers and fries I’ve ever had. The people there were extremely nice even when they were dealing with a lot of traffic for the drive though. Reasonable prices GREAT FOOD

Rays Drive In has always been a staple as we would pass through Dayton coming from Spokane and heading to Walla Walla. I returned to Dayton and ordered Rays for my wife and I for the first time in years.

Stopped in on a snowy day coming from Dodge Junction. They seem to always be open whenever we drive thru Dayton. We were early enough to get breakfast or lunch. I had bacon and cheese omelette (3 eggs) with 3 small pancakes. You can get the omelette with hash browns and toast too. Wife had “special” which this day was 2 eggs, hash browns, toast, and coffee. Both were tasty and right off the griddle. Hot and filling. Good service friendly staff, and reasonable prices. Worth a visit!

We were passing throught and decided to try Ray’s. I had the cheese burger which was classic and delicious. I love the sweet relish they add to the burgers. I also had the chocolate milk shake. It was thick and oh so chocolatey. The wife had the ham and cheese sandwich without the cheese on sourdough bread. The ham was hand carved with just the right amount of mayo, tomato and lettuce. I ate the half she couldn’t finish and it to was delicious. I highly recommend this place.

It was alright. Not sure if they changed ownership, but definitely different ambience than last time I was there. Our lunch, Hamburger and chicken strip, was a little on the expensive side $32. I know prices up with business trying to keep doors open, but we were charged a “dine-in” fee??

Dont know why there is only one dollar sign at this place. Just came through here thinking we would stop for a quick and cheap bite to eat. The drive thru menu prices are all faded and now I know why…. Ordered 2 double cheeseburgers, 1 cheesburger, 1 fish sandwich, 1 soft taco, 1 Shrimp and fry basket, 4 small lemonades and 1 large, 3 small fries and the grand total was $75 after about a 20 minute wait. Thats what it costs nowadays to feed 1 dad and 4 kids? Food was basic, nothing special at all

Ray’s drive in is great! We ate outside on the picnic table because it was a warm autumn day. The food was so good, tasty and really hit the spot. Nice people too. Thank you Ray’s!

2/7/2021 at 5:25pm The girl that took our order was rude and the burgers were not good. The fries were mushed together and the buns were soggy. Save your money and go somewhere else. The pizza place up the street is way better service is amazing and the prices are good.

Nice large patty for the cheeseburger and ready, but when they asked if I wanted everything on it I didn’t realize that meant ketchup, mustard, pickles & onions. It was worth it, but just disappointing. I’ll go back; they have a good sized menu.
