In the beginning, I enjoyed this location. But after several experiences of not having the amount of tenders I ordered on my plate (to-go), receiving cold fries, or having my pickup order given away and having to wait an additional 20 minutes for my food with no apology, I’m just not satisfied with the consistency of this location. And in today’s order, I received a large container of frozen coleslaw. The one time I’ve eaten inside has been good, and the servers are usually friendly, so that’s a plus. But I still expect my order to be correct and taste good when I visit.

I’ve seen these places around in other towns but 2021 it’s new to Milledgeville. Their menu is similar to a restaurant two traffic lights south, but that’s where the similarities end.
I ordered a classic three tender meal. The pricing was adequate for the area however the quality of the food was much better than competition. I ordered curbside and staff was prompt to bring correct order.
They’re signature Magoo dipping sauce it is OK however I prefer there honey mustard. It reminds me of honey mustard salad dressing from Steak ‘n Ale. I would recommend this location to anyone who is looking for an alternative to that Z bird.

Food is generally good here but check your order BEFORE you leave if you ordered take away. 10pc ordered for pick up, asked specificalky if the sauces were in the bag, was told yes but upon opening the bag at home, NO SAUCES.

Great chicken tender spot that competes with the other “Z” chicken restaurant. Nice selection of preparation methods and sauces. Portions are very generous. I had a 5 piece and my wife had a wrap. Presentation is nice and the food delicious. Fries are a little too salty but probably to most people liking. Good selection of drinks including s watermelon ice tea. Service was very friendly and attentive.

Chicken tenders were tough & stringy. Not sure if over cooked or just steroid injected chickens. They were juicy, but the meat was stringy & hard to chew. For that kind of money, I’d expect them to at the very least be as good as Zaxbys. They were not. Service was friendly & faster than Zaxby’s but if you can’t eat it, it doesn’t really matter. I did enjoy the side salad, but the Cole Slaw was terrible. All in all, $75 for lunch for 5 should have been better.

The food was just mid, I got the magoos chicken sandwich. Not much flavor honestly. The drinks don’t come with the meal and you have to pay for sauce. Service was great tho but it’s not something I would be like “mmm I’m craving Huey Magoo’s.”

I usually love this place but the last time I went the chicken strips were like their cousin Zaxby’s strips: tiny. It wasn’t a chicken strip. It was a chicken nugget. If Huey is going to let their product morph into Zaxbys then I will be done with them.

The chicken tenders are the best out there. Love the salads as well. It’s super easy to order and customize online. The staff is always friendly and helpful at the Milledgeville Location. I often eat there once a week and it’s a great value compared to many other choices as well.

This is the third time that we’ve picked up from here in the past month or so. The chicken tenders are always tender and delicious. Their sauces are really good as well. The staff are always very friendly and efficient. The prices are very reasonable.

THIS HAS TO BE THE DRIEST CHICKEN I HAVE EVER ATE!!!! I’ll just go to cookout or zaxbys next time. What kind of small stringy chicken tenders did I end up with. My girlfriends chicken sandwich was awful too. Heck nah. This was my first time and last time going here. Coleslaw sucks too.
