little hole in the foodie spot here, 1st time here, in this area on Tuesday & Thursdays and always wanting to find some good food, I’m paying so it just has to be good or mmm great, this was mmm great, the atmosphere when u walk in, is like u walked in at wells house, the service was on point, very attentive, and that’s a big 1st impression for me, I ordered the meatloaf.. it was really good, I’m a ketchup meatloaf kinda customer, bust it was good with the gravy.. complementary soupa heck yeah!! overall a good place, will definitely be going back

Stopped in at lunchtime on a Wednesday. I had the Wednesday special fried chicken. It came with mashed potatoes and corn. The fried chicken was delicious. Well seasoned and cooked perfect. Juicy, not at all greasy. My wife had the hamburger steak and she thought it was delicious too. They have good baked desserts. I had the pineapple cupcake, just awesome.

No OJ at breakfast. Several menu items were not available. Service was friendly but my food order was incorrect. Hashbrown add-on cost extra which was fine but was very undercooked. Pancakes were good and eggs were well cooked. $.75 for a togo box and $.25 for a sheet of foil.

Outstanding delicious food! I had the fried pork chops with mashed potatoes and veggies.The veggies were good the mashed potatoes were on point. The gravey that bathed the potatoes was home made and delicious. The pork chops were well seasoned and cooked to perfection. They were moist and juicy. My friend had the meatloaf special. I tasted it and it was the best meatloaf I have ever had.The tea was fresh brewed for us and was wonderfully refreshing. We will definitely be back when we travel north on I 69 to leave the valley. I recommend this little DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH 100 PERCENT!! RAYS’S CAFE IN ROBSTOWN!

I got the BBQ plate which included Barbacoa in it. And it was amazing and not greasy like some other places. It reminded me of how my grandma used to prepare it. They have fresh tortillas as well! 10/10 recommend.
