Got the special w/extra bacon and a coffee. $10 Very good basic breakfast. Wish I could have stayed longer and had more coffee. Very good service. I will be back. Thank you for being open on a very cold winter day after all the storm brought us.

I just want to let everyone know that if you have been to Ray’s Cafe in the past, or maybe never been, you owe it to yourself to give it a try.
We recently stopped in for breakfast recently, which we’ve done many times in the distant past, and discovered how great this place still is. It’s located at 2727 NW 50th St., OKC which is about a block east of May, and just south of Target. If you’re out Christmas shopping and want to try something different, with great food, stop in and check it out… I believe you’ll be glad you did.

Seat yourself home style atmosphere. The breakfast section of the menus is short and sweet. Nothing fussy but all breakfast staples that you would find most places. Prices are right on target and the portions are good as well. Hot, fast and fresh is what I would say about the food. The service was excellent and the the restaurant was clean and bright. I regret not eating here sooner. We will be back.

Rays cafe is near my house my husband and I decided to stop by for some breakfast. Location was clean i will give them that but food is way to overpriced for the portions , Our waitress was a older black lady she came to our table repeated us 6 times our order and it was wrong every single time ! They gave me dirty utensils , refills took about 20 minutes our food was under cooked terrible experience if you wanna waste your money sure do recommend!

My wife’s chicken fried steak was ok, now it was thick as all get out but maybe for us a little more batter and seasonings! maybe 2.5-3.. but the rest was great. Y’all see we ate it all!!

Came in to dine alone and ordered the three topping omelette ham bacon sausage then asked for bell pepper and mushrooms with side of toast and hash browns. Instead of bell pepper I got onions which I do not care for and NO cheese ♀️ was cheese supposed to be added as a topping? I thought all omelettes come with cheese! Service is great very friendly. Place feels like a family owned restaurant seems as waitresses have been here for years because they talk to their customers as if they’d been coming for years. Basically you get what you pay for the prices are low but don’t come if your looking for a fancy breakfast however the service is amazing.

Great little diner hidden in plain sight. Its a step above wafflehouse/ihop. Cozy ND quantify vibe. Repeat customer.

Pretty slow at getting the food out which was surprising to me after biting into a chicken fried chicken sandwich that had obviously been cooked 83 days ago. I seriously could not bite through the chicken, it was so tough and stringy. The bun was no better, I tried just eating the chicken breading with the bun & veggies but the bread was so dry it crumbled to pieces when picked up.
The fries were good. Could’ve used some salt.

1/2 lb hamburger steak was barely a 1/4 lb. If even that. Upcharge me $1.00 to get onion rings as a side, and only receive 4 onion rings? WTH. And my son ordered fries with his burger and was literally the size of a small fry at McDonald’s maybe a little smaller. Seems a bit stingy if you ask me, and if your menu says 1/2lb it should be 1/2lb, anyone can tell the difference between the two. It’s like false advertisement. Other than that, the food was very good (the few bites I had lol)
