Oh, the worst restaurant I have ever been to. breakfast came out on a paper plate, silverware was wrapped in a paper towel. My French toast was undercooked and soggy and my three-year-old child could’ve cooked the eggs better than they did literally the worst breakfast ever. They messed up the toast on my husband’s breakfast! Who messes up toast?!? At this point we are just hoping we don’t get sick!

It’s an American greasy spoon. Food is good. It’s old. Could be cleaner. But I like it. And I keep coming back. Good prices. Super friendly

First morning of our families vacation and we are hungry. I don’t want to spend $1,000 for breakfast at this resort so Ray’s it is 6 minutes away. Like many of the establishments here it’s hidden by the vegetation. The place is located on the corner of a building. You might have some parking issues if it’s busy due to the lack of parking. As you enter you get a 60’s style Cafe feel with counter and booths. The place had one server, very friendly but the only one working. We didn’t think much because there were only 2 groups in the establishment. We had bean burrito with egg, cheeseburger for one boy, 2 eggs anyway, eggs and pancakes and single egg with fruit for our 2 year old cashew. As we waited, yup people arrived keep food from arriving. The restaurant had a authentic Mexican taste and it helped to have the salsa with meal which was home cooked “casera.” The pancakes were very sweet but that is how they are made South of the border. At $47 dollars and paper plates I’d expect more for this meal but it was ok place.

We had breakfast here and it was not worth the price. They used paper plates and the sandwich I got I could have made at home. My husband got the t-bone and it was way to over cooked. We got charged for our waters. They also don’t give a paper receipt so you don’t know what you’re paying until you get up to the register. We paid 50 dollars.

Like trying local places often not as busy but food was good. Bit different with paper plates but they knew how to fry a good egg. You can tell the locals know about it looked like lots of take out orders too.

Love going there for something different. But the Cafe is looking a little tired and needs a good clean in addition!

We were looking for a new breakfast diner and will be returning again this week. Food arrived quickly and was excellent! The breakfast sub tasted just like what we used to get from the authentic cheesesteak carts in Philly even down to the soft, chewy roll.

I’ve been here numerous times over the years. Best onion rings I’ve ever had. I would go there every time I go to Hilton head for them.
