This visit really brought back some great memories. Used to walk here from CHS back in the 70’s. Had the cheeseburger special w/fries and a root beer. Worth the wait on a near 100° day. 1 of THE only local “joints” left in Centerville. Pretty sure they have a food truck they park off of 18th Street on the south side. That’s my next stop! Stay tuned please.

Food very good, staff reasonably friendly. There needed to be one senior staff with the trainees. However, I believe the kids will get better with nervous over time. I got: exactly what I ordered, polite words, and a smile. Keep the young staff and watch them grow.

This place is open seasonally from like March thru August. Friendly staff and great food. My fav is their huge tenderloins, fries and German chocolate artic swirls. Limited parking. Closed Sundays and Mondays
