Raya Lebanese is one of the most beautiful restaurants I have been to. The food is like art and the taste is phenomenal. I have greatly enjoyed getting to know Sam Raya and the locals that come in and out. She really takes you in as if a family; it is by far the most welcoming place I’ve been to. My favorite menu items are the kibbie, lamb m’shagan, gyros, and grape leaves. The hummus and pita is also delicious, and I always get the coffee and baklava to finish out my meal. I love the environment, it is warm and compliments the atmosphere so well. The food is also very affordable. I would highly recommend checking them out on Instagram, too, as the restaurant hosted a poetry event recently which I heard went well. I cannot wait to become a frequent customer at Raya Lebanese and get to know this fantastic food further!

Sam Raya is one of the best people I know and she serves up the most delicious, fresh dishes. Great, healthy food at fair prices!! True hidden gem with easy street parking.

Haven’t been in for a long time, was delicious as always. Sam is such a gracious host and has always remembered us, no matter how long it is between visits. If you haven’t been to this little gem, it’s a must. Good, hearty, delicious, authentic food, made with love and tradition, yum!

Friendly staff, nice atmosphere and reasonably priced middle eastern fare, just what our family was looking for to end a fun day. The baba ganoush was a little on the smokier side, which was a nice surprise flavor compared to others. The falafel came out VERY hot. The bathroom does need some improvement; cramped and challenging to access.

No frills for sure but the hummus was smooth as butter and delicious. Prices super reasonable and servings way more than ample.

Expect a little language barrier with some staff but that doesn’t bother me. I will for sure come back.

The best gem in Cincinnati. The food is amazing, with several tasty vegetarian options. Everything is very affordable, and the staff is so kind.

One of the best restaurants I have tried so far in Cincy. I deeply loved the environment, especially it radiated a vibrant Arabic vibes. The food tasted delicious, and last but not the last, service/owners were very kind, welcoming, and friendly. Thanks for making my birthday memorable.

Sem, the owner, is very kind and the food is delicious. I got the lentil soup and could have eaten two more bowls! Also got a falafel wrap, the vegetables were crisp and the sauce was amazing.

This was not nearly the best Lebanese restaurant that we’ve eaten at, but it was OK. The chef is also the owner; there are newspaper clippings of her hanging on the wall. The facility is somewhat rundown and needs a good deep cleaning, especially around the windows and plants. The prices are reasonable. My wife had the falafel wrap. She said it was OK but that it had obviously been microwaved and the pita was dry and tough. I had the lamb kabob wrap consisting of cubed lamb wrapped in a pita with onions and tomatoes. The lamb itself was abundant and quite good — tender and with no gristle or fat. The wrap had no flavor, so if you like the taste of lamb (as I do) then this is a good dish to order.

This is a hidden downtown for delicious food. I thoroughly enjoyed this small family operated restaurant. Their food was . We ordered:

1. Falafel wrap – coworking friend quote “for $6 this is a bargain.” The falafel was flavorful and prepared well. The pita bread was a little thick and needed slightly more toppings. (4/5 )

2. Mixed platter – ❤️ ❤️ everything on this plate was a fan favorite of mine. The tzatzki sauce was phenomenal! I enjoyed all the protein with this dish and would order again. (7/5 )

3. Hummus – prepared well, great consistency, and loved the added flavors. (5/5 )

We will most definitely be returning, and I can’t wait to try more of the amazing dishes.
