Every time we visit the Cape we order the Monster Lobster roll and Clam Chowder. The real clam Chowder, the thick and creamy New England style.
They also have Mini Lobster Rolls if you can’t take the challenge with the large one.
Wife also loves their steamers with hot butter on the side to dip in.

Chowder was ok, but the lobster roll was phenomenal. With just a touch of mayo, the huge portion of chilled lobster on a roll was fantastic. Would have been 10/10 if they had grilled the roll. Bring a friend because the portion is very generous.

The atmosphere of the place is very nice and friendly, the service was very good , the servers was polite and friendly but the food for me wasn’t good at all . I ordered the famous lobster rolls. The plus side I will say is that when you order the lobster roll it is packed with lobster meat , my server said almost a full pound of lobster. The bad is it absolutely has no flavor at all and has a very fishy taste. There are no seasonings at all just lobster on a hotdog bun plain . Its very dry and it is also served cold. Not good at all and for 31 dollars per roll is totally not worth it unless you take it home and spruce it up. I brought two so I wasted 62 dollars. Definitely down.

My husband was one of their first customers when they opened, 20 or more years ago; Returning to the bar brought back nostalgic memories. Obviously we ordered the famous (and very expensive) lobster sub and the famous clam chowder, which was a disappointment, as it was very thin. But hey, the important thing is that it is still there, although under different owners.

mediocre tasting lobster roll, lots of lobster in it, though. clam chowder bowl had maybe 2-3 clams in it, very sparse with potatoes also. oysters had a strange flavor, almost tasted cooked. came from MD and have had far superior seafood there.

Ordered a Monster roll to split with a friend and 2 of their famous rum punches. Roll was delicious and packed with meat (see cut picture in review). Drink was good – just ok as far as flavor but definitely packs a punch otherwise! Note the translucency of the soaked cherry in the picture. Very expensive but you’re getting what you pay for. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area! Friend said they have live music on specific days as well so I hope to go back on one of those days.

The Raw Bar should be a national landmark. Easily the best lobster roll I’ve ever had! The staff here is lovely and the food is always fresh and delicious. Strong drinks, fun atmosphere. $1 oysters on Monday between 4PM-6PM. Can’t recommend this place enough! It hasn’t changed a bit over the years and I hope it stays that way!

We’ve been going here for 25 years, because you can’t get a bigger or better lobster roll anywhere else. Sure, it’s pricey, but that’s because it’s lobster. The steamers were very sweet and very clean for steamers, and the beer selection is decent. The service could not have been better, starting with the hostess and going right down to the waitress and even other staff wandering around helping clear tables and deliver food.
