We celebrated our mom’s 82nd birthday at Acropolis Greek Taverna in South Tampa, and the entire experience was wonderful from start to finish. Our server, Christian, was absolutely fantastic! He was attentive, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. He made us feel genuinely welcomed and taken care of.
The food was delicious, full of fresh flavors and classic Greek comfort, and the drink and wine selection was impressive, offering something for everyone at the table. The atmosphere was cozy, inviting, and warm, the kind of place that makes a family celebration feel extra special.
Overall, we had a memorable evening, and Mom truly felt celebrated. A great time was had by all, and we’ll definitely be returning!

I celebrated my marriage sacrament here with my family and close friends on a Saturday night. Acropolis was very accommodating for 40 people. The food was delicious, the service was wonderful, and the prices were very reasonable. We even enjoyed a DJ and some dancing. Thank you, Joseph!

This is a super cute and friendly Greek restaurant. Both the service and food are excellent!! Gianna as our server made us feel welcomed, gave us suggestions and was overall providing fantastic service. We ordered the sangria, octopus and calamari appetizers, lamb & beef gyro, and Santorini pasta. Everything was delicious! Thank you, Acropolis!!

I came here today and was really disappointed, I’ve been coming to this location since 2017 and it’s definitely not the same . My steak kabob was so over cook it was a hockey puck and my pasta sauce was a soup . Looks like dio or Petra or a way better option these days

Extremely disappointing experience. Arrived 5pm for dinner. Only 2 other patrons inside. Service was great. Our server was very friendly and attentive. The meal however was a letdown. Ordered the lollipop lamb chops medium rare. For $40 I received 4 wafer thin chops that were severely overcooked on a bed of potatoes that were cold. The moussaka entree also arrived barely warm. With a total of 4 diners the chef obviously had adequate time to ensure the food was prepared and delivered with care. He chose not to. Would not recommend and will not return.
