Homemade bread is amazing and really fresh. I had breakfast and chef Mike had a work out. Styrofoam plates and plastic forks in such a small turnover place is disappointing. The bread is so good it deserves a real plate.

Restaurant is a great little sandwich shop. They have a few other things on the menu as well. They have some homemade breads including glutin free breads. It’s a great experience to see the aviation decor and watch the gliders come and go during a out of the way old school place.

Small restaurant adjacent to a glider airport/flight school. It faces the runway on the second floor. Fun watching the gliders take off (tow plane), soar, and land. You order at the counter and they deliver to you Food was very good and fresh! 1/2 sandwich is plenty big and the red, white, and blue salad was delicious, served with a slice of their homemade breads – either banana-apple, poppyseed or lemon. Would easily return if we lived in the area! So sorry I forgot photos of the food.

This place was close to where we camped for the night so we stopped in for breakfast. Amazing spot. Great vibes, talked a lot with locals about the airport etc. Service was perfect. Food was amazing and the fruit was so much better than the grocery store. We bought a loaf of homemade bread which they sell. Easily the best homemade bread ive ever had, I got poppy seed, they had a few options. Our meals were perfect proportions and were prepared to perfection. You could tell that the cook put his heart into it. If we are ever in the area again, we will gladly support this business again!!!

Great staff! Very friendly! We have tried both breakfast and lunch. The Harvest Salad was fresh and delicious. The tuna salad sandwich was also very good. We had the French Toast and the croissant breakfast sandwich off the breakfast menu (which they serve until 11:00 am). Both were very good. We will definitely be going back!

I love airport cafe’s and this one was no disappointment. Great view of the airfield and mountains, and interesting people with great stories to tell. Mike made us some excellent sandwiches and we really enjoyed ourselves. Can’t wait to return!

Get ready to be treated like royalty! Their three scrambled eggs were beyond delicious. Wish to add spinach or whatever your heart desires? If they have it in their country style kitchen, it’s yours for the asking. Cozy, warm and a friendly environment, where customers feel free to enter into conversations with other locals or travelers. Located at the Mountain Valley Airport, with tremendous views of the mountains and, of course, glider planes.
