The Smokin’ Aces Poker League of which I’m a member, play Texas Hold ‘Em there on Thursday evenings. The group numbers around 20-25 people. I’m speaking of myself. The ownership makes us feel welcome by greeting us with smiles and a wave as we trickle in. The bartenders know our drink preferences and nod to us and we nod back. They include us in their conversations about the Community doins’. Sporting events are always on the many TVS. Food is served hot and fast. I believe it is a nice asset to the community of Red Bud and southern Illinois.
