The Ratskeller Cafe is located within the Bavarian Inn Lodge Family Fun Center & Water Park. Enjoy home made subs, pizza, bratwurst and more with specials offered – all cafeteria style. Play some of our 160 video games or a round of miniature golf on Willy the Dragon’s funky indoor course after a fresh home made pizza! Alcoholic as well as non-alcoholic beverages are available. Birthday packages are available with advanced reservations. Limited seating is offered with current Michigan COVID19 mandates as well as take-out for food and beverages both. Beverages are available by growler as well as by pitcher or the glass. Enjoy a quick breakfast, dinner and lunch and have FUN in the Ratskeller at the Bavarian Inn Lodge!

Excellent!!!! Cafeteria style, you stand in line and order your food and they will bring it to your table when done. They have a nice sized menu, restaurant is clean and the atmosphere is very relaxing. The pizza was super delicious, cheesy with a nice yummy crust. The only downfall was the fountain pop, a large was the size of a medium and cost $3, but refills are not allowed. If rather pay $5 for a fountain pop and be able to get a refill. But overall, it’s a great restaurant! The staff was very friendly and helpful.

This place is really great for birthday party’s. However, the food itself is pretty mediocre, but it’s convienent. If you’re looking for a delicious meal, I’d head out of the lodge as there are plenty of great selections. If you’re staying in the lodge and looking for convienence, you can’t beat it. There is a small bar with rotating craft beers on tap. Ask for your beer in a plastic cup if you desire to walk around with it or take it into the pool area.

Not impressed with the food and the prices were definitely on the high end. $60 for 2 kids and 2 adults to eat and even paying that much you don’t even get free refill on the drinks. Waited at the bar for 5 mins never got any service, wife stood there for another 5 mins to finally get a drink which again the prices were very high. Food took a long time to come out for not just us but everyone in the resteraunt, I figured they were just short staffed but in the time we were there we saw at least 6 different employees coming and going from the kitchen so it definitely wasn’t a staffing issue.

One word. KARAOKE!! That’s what Ratskeller was always known for every night at 7. Food there is good, staff is extremely friendly and always a great vibe when you’re on the stage singing karaoke.

This is the place that parents take their kids to get basic kid-friendly meals that they will eat while surrounded by games and TVs, and sometimes music with karaoke. There is beer for the adults, but it’s basically Chuck E Cheese or Kiddie Vegas. For adults, almost all the food is fried and mediocre and a bit overpriced for what it is. You pay for convenience and your kid’s fun.

If your children like Chuck E. Cheese, they’ll like the Rathskeller Cafe. We went there for pizza and we’re happy we did. The aroma filled our car and we were delighted by the taste as well. It took a lot to get into the place as it’s inside of the Zehnder’s Splash Village and Hotel and the parking lot was under construction which made it almost impossible to park.
