Ordered drinks and they’re top notch. I think the barkeep was named Conner. We also ordered food which was incredible (Philly steak) Conner went well above and beyond to make sure we were taken well care of. Definitely would request him to be my barkeep every time he’s available.

I have mixed feelings about this place. It was somewhat crowded but easy to find seating, there was karaoke going on which was fun to watch and the food was good. My kids really liked the pizza, it’s actually in their top 5 for “best pizza.” The prices are not abnormal for an indoor waterpark and I would say they are comparable to the Great Wolf Lodge. However, the service is atrocious. The wait time is well over an hour and the staff, especially the cashier the night we were there was oddly rude and originally tried to detour us from ordering. I would consider going here during non peak hours for a less stressful experience.

Service was very slow when we were there. It took half an hour to get a soft pretzel. Having a bar in the middle of the kids fun center is a good idea in theory but it just felt like we were having beer at Chuck E Cheez.

Slower than slow. The tip is shown before you get your food. I’ve never seen anything like it. The owners need to hire help.
I would never have left a tip. The food is nothing above cafeteria food. You better all order at the same time for best chances.
My daughter’s got there food 45 minutes after everyone was finished. We met as a group. Some people got there food 45 minutes Later ,when they ordered before at least 1/2 hour before.
We’re not talking complicated cooking here.
Nachos, plain burgers, cheese pizza, pulled pork sandwich. We’re they filleting the cow in the back kitchen?

Why is there a checkbox to rate service?
There is no service. You wait up to an hour or more for basic food with lower quality than a county jail.
No sour cream available for quesadillas.
And they forgot to give me the salsa.
I would really hate to see if this place was busy. I can’t imagine the wait time.
$24 for a 16″ plain cheese pizza.
Don’t take a seat at the bar. You’ll sit there all night. You need to wait in line for a 1/2 hr. With 3 people in front of you.
I suggest going to the better restaurant.
Maybe things would be better?
This was high production cooked food.
No skill involved. I would suggest to the manager to offer better quality.
How about a slice of tomato, pickles and onion on the burgers.
The manager should walk back in the kitchen and see why the meals are taking so long. Maybe wake a couple people from there naps.
I really regret giving a tip before I purchased my meal.
I will never go to this cafeteria again.
No wait for a table, but definitely a wait to eat.

I don’t leave reviews often but my family recently stayed at Bavarian for the first time. I felt the need to say that Connor S. In the ratskeller cafe that was working that the front as a cashier was AMAZING! He was so outgoing and friendly from the moment we encountered him on the first day. As someone who has worked I custom service for 10+ years it was refreshing to see a younger person do it and do it so well. He truly tries to find a way to relate to ever person he encounters and make it a point to try and give everyone great service. He reads people well and does a phenomenal job. Truly was a pleasure seeing him and having him there!

I’ve come here a few times for the karaoke, which is honestly not the best but it’s kinda what’s available in Frankenmuth. The host is great! The speakers and acoustics… not so much.

The pizza is pizza, so I definitely ate it, but it’s certainly not the best pizza I’ve ever had. Nothing about this place is bad, and it’s certainly conveniently located if you’re staying in the Bavarian Inn Lodge.

The look of the establishment is consistent with the rest of the Lodge, and it is located right next to the mini golf. It is an all ages place, even though it feels like a bar, so the karaoke is early, as far as I know from when I’ve been there, it’s on Fridays from 7-11, and kids are welcome and encouraged to sing- so if you like karaoke and have kids with you, I’d highly recommend this place, because you can get your drinkies, the kids can get their pizza, and the mood is overall good vibes.

They’ve got pool tables as well.

They were doing construction when I was there, and I’m not sure when that finished/will be finished, but the karaoke host said that when that was done, the speakers would be replaced and the acoustics would be better. Can’t wait!

2023: Excellent!!!! Cafeteria style, you stand in line and order your food and they will bring it to your table when done. They have a nice sized menu, restaurant is clean and the atmosphere is very relaxing. The pizza was super delicious, cheesy with a nice yummy crust. The only downfall was the fountain pop, a large was the size of a medium and cost $3, but refills are not allowed. I’d rather pay $5 for a fountain pop and be able to get a refill. But overall, it’s a great restaurant! The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Had my 7 year old sons birthday party here. They did an awesome job! The decorations were so cute, and the birthday boy got balloons and a gift with the package we chose. We even had a worker helping us throughout the party, she was very friendly and attentive. The kids and adults all had a blast. I’ll definitely come here again for future birthday parties!

2025: my 9 year old picked this as his birthday location. I picked the $200 package which paid for 10 kids (cheapest package). Due to illnesses this year, we didn’t have a big turn out. Added on 4 large pizzas with 2 toppings each for $25/pizza, plus 4 pitchers of pop at $7/pitcher. Cafe also tacked on a mandatory 20% gratuity which was $65, our host wasn’t attentive at all for a 20% tip. Prices definitely went up. The lodge added onto the arcade and added a ropes course, laser tag and a lot more games. Kids had so much fun!

Ratskeller is an AWESOME restaurant, we almost exclusively eat here besides the actual chicken dinner. The breakfast is fresh, and lunch is tasty! all the food we’ve tried is delicious. The prices are more than reasonable.

The atmosphere is fun. It s large and spacious. It has many TVs all playing kid shows. It’s right by mini golf. Tons of seating. Even a bar. Cafeteria style ordering which we love.

The food is all good. Fries, breakfast, nachos, muffins, cookies, drinks. It’s all good!!

Staff is friendly and helpful.

This is one of the most beautiful and unique places I’ve ever visited. The arcade seems to go for miles!!! They have a restaurant and bar for us adults. Great place for a kids party!! They have entertainment nightly down at the Ratskeller Cafe. The mural’s are beautifully detailed. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They have 2 water slides 4 stories tall. And the resort is in the middle of adding other additions. The Bavarian Inn and Resort are building the first and biggest water park in the city of Michigan. They are also adding more to the park. Laser tag, tight rope, and much, much more. The kids won’t have any trouble falling asleep afterwards!!!! Take my advice and visit Frankenmuth Michigan at the Bavarian Inn and Resort!!! I can’t wait to return to see the new attractions!!!
